Great location, super views from the hotel, there is a great place for surfing nearby, the hotel itself is very pleasant and well-groomed area, nice clean pool! Excellent breakfast and dinner!
I liked everything except the beds in the rooms! Mattresses need to be changed! Detox cribs are not very comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa. While the hotel is old and does need updating (rooms are being remodeled one at a time), the location can't be beat with absolutely stunning sea views from all directions. Perched on a headland with two bays on either side, there is always a refreshing sea breeze and sitting in the restaurant surrounded by water on all sides is really nice. Buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful and the a-la-carte lunch we had was a very reasonable price for large portions. Special thank you to SUDESH from reception, who was very helpful in making our reservation. While it is a bit outside of Hiriketiya, it was a short tuk tuk ride into town and it was nice to have a more spacious, relaxing beach for daytime. The beach at the hotel is good for swimming, but be careful of strong tides.

Sono stata al Dikwella resort per 3 notti, ma avrei voluto farne altre 10!!! Mi sono trovata benissimo!!! Lo staff è molto gentile e preparato, disponibili ad aiutarti in qualsiasi momento. La mia camera dava sulla baia grande, era pulita e spaziosa, anche se un po datata, ma comunque molto confortevole. La struttura è ben tenuta, con bei giardini e una piscina molto bella che si affaccia su entrambe le spiaggie. Le spiaggie sono bellissime, anche se il mare era agitato ho potuto lo stesso fare il bagno a Turtle Point insieme alle tartarughe. La cucina dell'hotel serve piatti singalesi e continentali, tutto molto buono!!! Il buffet è molto grande e con una scelta molto varia. Ho usufruito anche del servizio lavanderia e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. In generale è stata una bellissima esperienza, raccomando fortemente di alloggiare in questo resort, non ve ne pentirete!

The hotel itself and the location was so good. I came there with my husband. I like to thank the girl who was in the reception in white top (hansani) for being so lovely and friendly. She had a nice smile on her face. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to visit there again.

It was a lovely stay at the resort. From the Front office team, F&B team and all respective departments were very helpful and assisted us all the way until we checked out. The food was amazing and thankful to the F&B team, Tharanga, Wijesiri, Chef Jagath and the Sous chef, who attended to us always and to our special requirements as well. Hats off to the teams and certainly we shall be back again soon in our next visit to SL. Suggest some more entertainment to be done in the pool area such as some live music or a DJ especially on weekend, so that we are glued in the area.. Keep up the good work guys!
