Lovely mini break away, guest house beautiful and clean, excellent breakfast that set you up for the day, hosts very helpful nothing too much trouble, I have a gluten intolerance which was accommodated, we will definitely stay again. Thank you

Lovely spacious room, fantastic hosts, delicious breakfast and brilliant location. All communal areas and bedroom were very clean. Located right on the high street, easily accessible to shops, restaurants and bus stops. Would love to stay again.

A gem of a find. Met by Paula and Sean who were very welcoming and helpful with local places of interest. Lovely room, with river views, coffee and lovely biscuits provided. Very clean and stylish. Cooked breakfast was excellent quality and really set us up for the day. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Greeted on arrival by Paula and Shaun and shown into our spacious and comfortable room facing the river. We enjoyed 3 nights and 3 excellent breakfasts, I am coeliac so needed a gluten free breakfast, that didn't pose a problem, as I was well catered for with bread, cereal and sasuage. Our hosts were on hand to give guidance as to where to visit and in this regard were very knowledgeable and helpful. We are very happy to give 10 out of 10 and recommend Ashdale Guesthouse to anyone looking for some great accommodation.

Fantastic stay in every aspect. A beautiful guest house, run by the lovely Paula and Sean who were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order. A visit to Ashdale Guest House is thoroughly recommended!

Just stayed for 2 nights at the Ashdale it was so lovely, great hosts, beautiful room and a fantastic breakfast. The location was ideal for exploring, we spent a day in Bakewell and hope to return soon to explore some more! 😊

We have just returned from our second visit to this guesthouse. It is a lovely guesthouse, ideally located on the Main Street. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the owners are very friendly and helpful and offer ideas of where to eat or visit. I would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Matlock Bath to book this guesthouse - you won’t be disappointed. We hope to visit again in the future.
