Cute hostel with super welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. They had so many local recommendations and advice. Very nice and central location in Matsumoto. Japanese style rooms. Would recommend a stay!

One of the most memorable highlights in my trip. Amazing stay and the vibe of the hostel is fabulous. Close to the train and bus stations. Few mins walk to the castle. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Please visit the Couch Potatoes hostel if you are staying in Matsumoto! :)))

Love japanese culture and interior design 😊

We stayed just one night as a family of 5 and there was everything we needed. You can even hire towels for 100 yen a go ! It was a marvellous place, slept like babies, free coffee and tea and use of the communal kitchen, free use of the washing machine and and and… not to forget the extremely friendly and knowledgable host. Thanks for a perfect stay 👍

A spacious and comfortable lobby, friendly staff, and clean rooms. This is the only place to stay in Matsumoto.

It is a very relaxing and well-designed backpacker hostel converted from an ancient house. The public spaces and rooms are clean and comfortable. It is very friendly to long-term travelers. It has a washing machine, outdoor drying space and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking needs. Highly recommended for backpackers, it is about a 13-minute walk from the station, but the walk is flat and has many small shops. Highly recommended.

Convenient transportation, very unique.

Super hostel, very pleasant living space with lots of instruments and games, equipped kitchen! Very clean, free machine nothing to say and very friendly staff, too bad I couldn't stay longer.

It's near Matsuyama Castle, the staff are friendly, and it's clean. It was great except that it was a bit far from the station. I recommend it.
