I liked this for breakfast but missed seeing people around dinner time. The onsen dowstairs has two large baths, one is closed and the other is open with rocks and vegetation around. A glass window separates them. After the onsen, there is self-service beer and/or ice-cream. The food was amazing! But I think I went overboard in ordering the special sea bream sashimi. We stayed two days there, relaxing at the onsen after climbing the Matsuyama castle ramp/steps or after cycling the Shimanamikaido in Imabari (about 40 minutes from Matsuyama) felt like heaven. The staff was extremely warmth and professional. In this place you will see the true Japanese hospitality ”omotenashi”.

Amenities were equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body soap, and general toothbrushes, shaver, hairbrushes, cotton, etc. were also provided. There is also a hot water pot and tea and coffee. The refrigerator is empty and there is no mineral water service. The vending machine seems to have been in the hotel. This was the only, completely unfortunate, but the man in the next room was very snoring and I couldn't sleep easily. . This was an unexpected problem for nobody. . But it is a hotel that I want to use when I visit Matsuyama again.

This time I visited Matsuyama on a solo trip and stayed at Tokyu REI, who was taken care of in Okinawa. Matsuyama Castle and the shopping street on the Okaido are also nearby, so it is in a very good location. I expected it including location and view, but there were many disappointments. I booked an executive sofa twin by looking at the photo of HP, but on the ８ floor, Matsuyama Jo castle was blocked by Tokyu Hotel and was not visible. The size of the window is different from HP. The mattress and pillows are thin. No mineral water is provided. There is no towel in the bathhouse prepared at the hotel in front of the city station.
