As expected of the Four Seasons, the hotel is clean and cleaned twice a day. The staff are very welcoming. The private beach is beautiful. You can see the sunrise every morning in the sea view room. Various restaurants have different dishes every day. I will come again!

Great stay at FS Mauritius. Restaurant choices are aplenty, really nice beach and service is great. Would stay here during our next trip to Mauritius.

The service is very good, the environment is good, the staff is very nice. Dining in the restaurant is quite expensive. If you are not used to it or think it is too expensive, you can bring some self-heating hot pot or self-heating rice to improve the taste. The hotel has a free ferry to Ludao Island every day. It is a very good experience to enjoy the sunny beach on Ludao Island and eat Chinese rice.

The plan was to stay at the Four Seasons for 10 days from April 4th to April 14th, but we were not so lucky. We made a mistake in choosing the resort because we searched for the name and did not read people’s opinions on this site or other sites. It was a disappointment for us, the worst resort you can waste your money on. I booked a three-bedroom villa for 10 days for 30,000 dollars. I expected that I chose the correct name, but unfortunately it is not like any Four Seasons, it is different. The furniture is old, the curtains in some of the rooms are torn, the beds are full of ants. There was a dead insect in the rooms when we arrived and it was not removed for two days, meaning they entered the villa to clean it two days in a row. They did not remove it from the floor, and this confirms to us that they did not clean the villa properly. The other thing is, in the first two days, the villa’s phone was not working, and I had to call room services through my mobile phone for an international call, and I asked them to fix the phone, but !!!! and there was also no hot water in The bathrooms and the water pressure are very weak, which forced us to call maintenance for the first two days to fix them. For your information, people travel to these islands to relax and not to deal with maintenance teams in hotels. In general, I booked at another resort (One&Only resort), and my family and I went there and really found the difference. Now I am in a luxury resort. I left it to the travel agency to return the remaining amount from the Four Seasons.

We weee so looking forward to our stay in Mauritius. It was raining when we got there but we were ok. The room was dated and worn, not perfect we were ok. The food was overpriced for what it offered , and again ok what you expect. But when I went to breakfast as saw the chef pulling a frozen paratha to serve guests I was horrified. Even more so when he defended it by saying it was frozen but uncooked. I said at a 5 star hotel charging the prices it does, everything should be the best quality and fresh. I felt like i was Gordon Ramsay in Kitchen nightmares as he just didn’t understand and was defensive! The whole breakfast is underwhelming. It feels meagre vs abundant. The cheese selection looks and I am sure now is cheap. Everything looks like it’s lacking love and attention. As it was rainy, extra attention was paid on the food and it just was sub par. Many quests were complaining, one even saying they are doing the minimum now as they are having a refurbishment in 7 months. Again all which is fine but you can’t charge the prices they do . I am now not sure if all restaurants serve frozen packet food or not. I just feel Post covid the four season franchise (yes they are not owned by four seasons just managed by them which is why there are so many inconsistent acids) are literally disrespecting the customers they should be nurturing. Pulling the wool over eyes, charging for everything, not including anything and then serving the least quality . Also important to note the hotel is in a man made mangrove and the beach is is shallow or small and artificial. i would change your booking if you’re coming in the next 7months as you won’t be getting your moneys worth. Maybe they will have a new attitude and service when they reopen.

Dear Four Seasons Mauritius, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service and food quality experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. From March 22nd to March 27th, new resided in one of your one bedroom villa. The level of service provided by your staff was abysmal. I encountered numerous instances of unprofessional behaviour, including carelessness and neglect. Basic requests were met with prolonged delays, and there was an evident lack of attention to guests' needs. Additionally, the food served at your establishment was far below acceptable standards. Every meal I consumed was of poor quality, lacking in taste and presentation. Despite the exorbitant prices charged, the meals were unpalatable and failed to meet even the most basin culinary expectations. Furthermore, I was dismayed to find several cleanliness issues that detracted from my overall experience. The furniture was covered with a thick layer of dust. The glasses/cups were never properly washed after use. I expected a certain level of cleanliness and hygiene to be maintained in hotel accommodations. As a paying guest, I anticipated a level of cleanliness, service and cuisine that would align with the reputation of your hotel. We are proud Canadians and Mauritians choosing to stay at the Four Seasons, and regrettably, our experience was marred by incompetence and inadequacy.
