"The beach is pretty good, perfect for a vacation. The hotel offers many free activities, and most packages include two meals, which are quite decent."

"This is my second hotel in Mauritius. The front desk service wasn't as good as the Hilton. There was no welcome drink upon arrival, so I just had to wait. There seemed to be more mosquitoes than at the Hilton, and the outdoor pool felt a bit dirtier than at the Hilton. Their restaurant is large and has a wide variety of dishes, but the flavors weren't to my liking, like the odd-tasting fried noodles and the overly sweet barbecued pork buns. The service at the Deer Hunter restaurant was good, but reservations had to be made a day in advance. The decor is magnificent. Overall, I had no disappointments, but I haven't given it a rave review."

"The hotel is a retirement home. The food is okay, the beach is nice, but the rooms are small, the pillows are uncomfortable, and the hotel itself is like a hospital with long corridors. The location is Le Morne, the best beach. Everything is a plus."

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius, and their experience was truly memorable. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist. A special mention goes to Mrs Sherina and Mrs Usha from the Front Office for their kindness, professionalism, and attentive support during the stay. The culinary experience was equally impressive, with a varied and delicious buffet / à la carte offered daily. Kudos to Chef Ramphul of Belle Vue Restaurant and Chef Boojawon of La Marée Restaurant for the quality and consistency of the food. Special thanks as well to Head waiter Rakesh of La Marée, along with the dedicated kitchen support staff, whose efforts greatly enhanced the food experience. The rooms, public areas, and gardens were impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of the resort. The daily evening entertainment was diverse, lively, and thoroughly enjoyable. We would also like to particularly acknowledge Mr Krishna Sanmuthiya, the newly appointed Resort Manager and Director of Operations. His constant presence throughout the resort and his daily interactions with guests made everyone feel genuinely welcomed. He is living proof of a results-oriented manager committed to excellence and guest satisfaction. As a small suggestion, we would love to see traditional Mauritian pancakes reintroduced to the breakfast buffet — a local touch that would make the experience even more special. Thank you to the entire Maritim team for making this stay such a pleasant and memorable one."

"The hotel has no equipped parking. You will have to leave your car on the side of the road. There is no beach as such. There is a breakwater with steps. But when swimming from it you can step on a sea urchin. Also, sometimes you can feel the current from the waves and this creates an additional level of discomfort when swimming. A very interesting place for snorkeling, but the nif is not alive and they are only trying to restore it."
