Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is expensive for a reason. The facilities are complete and you can basically enjoy them without leaving the hotel. There is golf but I didn't experience it, and I didn't want to spend money on the spa. Except that the Chinese restaurant was a bit shabby, everything else was perfect. I only stayed for three days and didn't have the barbecue buffet, which was a bit regrettable, but everything else was really perfect. The swimming pool is heated and free water and ice packs are really considerate. The service staff are very nice. It is a hotel worth staying in. Recommended

KKarenRats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

JJane_714Small but exquisite hotel. They have their own beach and lounge chairs, but you can't swim because there are reefs on the beach. There is a public beach for swimming a few steps to the right. You can enjoy the charming sea view and sunset every day lying on the hotel's lounge chairs. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food, and we had most of our dinners in the hotel's Captain's Restaurant. Every staff member is very enthusiastic, and the service staff called Yanis is very friendly. My son and I stayed for nine nights and it was a wonderful vacation

GGuest UserWe really liked the hotel: comfortable, cozy, quiet at night, first line, private clean beach with a beautiful view, which was cleaned every morning especially for the comfort of guests. The only thing to consider is that you definitely need to rent a car here, because taxis are expensive and take a long time to wait. But we rented a car, so everything was great. I played golf on the local course, and my wife and I also went to the spa, where Kevina and Sweta gave us a very good massage. There are a lot of small lizards on the territory, but this is a typical story for Mauritius, there are a number of insects that the staff actively fights, and at breakfast you can be bothered by rather impudent sparrows. But the hotel was so good that we did not pay attention to these little things. In general, the hotel is top. I recommend it. Despite the four stars in the hotel rating, it is much higher than many five-star Turkish hotels.

Mmaruru299The bathroom leaks! The balcony of the room leads directly to the beach. The beach, swimming pool, bar and restaurant are all very nice. Water sports such as paddle board, rowing, surfing are free, but you need to pay to go out on a boat to chase dolphins. The breakfast is rich.

RRanoshI had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.

EeeerOverall, it is a standard 5-star hotel, but the facilities are a bit old. The main problem is the air conditioning. The temperature control is very poor, either it is very cold or it has to be turned off; the location of the air outlet causes the cool wind to blow right on the head, which is simply fatal to sleep all night. For Chinese people, this makes people very uncomfortable. There are no other problems.

匿名顧客It's next to a nice and sizeable mall with supermarket, many shops and restaurants that one can easily find a choice. The hotel itself is nice, staff helpful, but the room floor plan is irregular with limited space allowing us to place the luggages or anchoring something (no table inside room). Cleanliness in the room can be better. Overall it's recommended given the easily located venue and the very great price.

OOLENA4A small and very cozy hotel on a rocky cliff. It has a pleasant atmosphere and a restaurant with an ocean view. Just a note – this hotel is not for those looking for a beach vacation, as the shore is rocky and not suitable for swimming. It's more for people who enjoy peace, quiet, and beautiful views. I had a cozy two-story room. The cleaning could have been better, and the food was average, but everything tasted good. Overall, I was happy with my stay and think it’s a great value for the price.
