Amazing
GGuest UserLet's talk about it from a few conveniences Facilities: three restaurants, two swimming pools, one of which is heated. The breakfast in the main restaurant is quite exquisite, and the food I ate for three days has not changed. The floating restaurant for dinner is very interesting and tastes good. It's just a little cold (it was winter when I went there). The spa is good and worth experiencing. I didn't try golf and shooting. It's a pity that there is no snorkeling activity. Sanitation: Very good, your room can be cleaned twice a day, and you will be asked at 7 o'clock in the evening if you want to tidy up the room and send you more water. Very good. Environment: This is too cozy to say. Service: This is very good, much better than the five-star hotels in the island cities in China, probably because of the enthusiasm of Africans. If you have to say the disadvantages, the hotel is very good, but it is a little old. The creaking sound of the floor in the room is very loud, and I am worried about waking up my companions when I get up at night.

GGuest UserBeautiful location awesome property we loved it. One improvement can be, include Indian food in their breakfast buffet and Dinner buffet so that we don't end up disappointed with food next time with which we were quite disappointed this time. If not authentic Indian food atleast veg pizza will work, as most of the Indians like pizza.

KKarenRats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

小K宝宝Compare to Lux Belle Mare and Lux Grand Baie, Lux le morne is a disappointment in terms of service level. The structure of the buildings look nostalgic but it’s well maintained. The level of hygiene seems to be high. I love the beach which has the best on the island. But it is a shame they couldn’t utilise this. If you imagine the other two lux hotels I mentioned above are for Waitrose and harrods sippers then this le morne hotel is for Tesco shoppers. They made mistakes in billing and quality of drinks is mediocre. I can do better at home.

GGuest UserWe really liked the hotel: comfortable, cozy, quiet at night, first line, private clean beach with a beautiful view, which was cleaned every morning especially for the comfort of guests. The only thing to consider is that you definitely need to rent a car here, because taxis are expensive and take a long time to wait. But we rented a car, so everything was great. I played golf on the local course, and my wife and I also went to the spa, where Kevina and Sweta gave us a very good massage. There are a lot of small lizards on the territory, but this is a typical story for Mauritius, there are a number of insects that the staff actively fights, and at breakfast you can be bothered by rather impudent sparrows. But the hotel was so good that we did not pay attention to these little things. In general, the hotel is top. I recommend it. Despite the four stars in the hotel rating, it is much higher than many five-star Turkish hotels.

AArtemAmazing stay at Salt of Palmar!!! Boutique, 16+ Hotel located on the east side of the island, on the first line. Great beach with amazing sunrises. Lots of sea activities are included with your stay. Quiet, spacious rooms. Great spa. Curated menu in the restaurant and opportunity to book a special dinner with a chef. Great wine and international cocktail selection. Professionaly trained staff and the management team lead by Mr. Med will make you stay exceptional

GGuest UserThe hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. The hotel offers many complimentary activities like pedal boats, paddleboarding, and snorkeling; for snorkeling and the glass-bottom boat tour, I highly recommend booking early. Breakfast was average. We had lunch at the Wave restaurant, but the taste was nothing special. If the price difference isn't substantial, I'd recommend sticking to a breakfast-only booking, as the hotel's other dining options are pretty unremarkable. During this weather, the north side experiences calmer waters, but activities such as helicopter tours to the waterfalls, the zoo, and boat excursions are all concentrated in the south and southwest. If you have ample time, I'd suggest staying at least two different hotels.

GGuest UserThe room is very nice, with a living room, kitchen and bedroom on the second floor. It's all great together. It's just that there are mice 🐭 that come out in the kitchen at night. But there is no danger, it is just looking for food.

RRanoshI had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.

AAnonymous UserNice stay and helpful staff, but for one person at the reception who doesn't seem to know what hospitality means. Very clean and confortable room, good breakfast buffet, though dinner buffet is sometimes of lesser quality. The staff is overally very nice, I recommend to stay there if you have a rental car, or you prefer to stay and relax by the pool or beach.
