Very nice and staff very welcoming

Resort Long beach has Beautiful views and the staff friendly and very helpful. They have little Golf carts that will take your luggage to your villa and you can call them to collect you especially in the rain. Majority of staff go above and beyond like cleaning your sunglasses by pool, drinks regularly offered by pool. Staff throughout restaurants, domestics etc so good with kids and really engage with them. The kids club is so good, especially on rainy days. We went on a nature trial and a visit to the bee hives with a guide from the kids club which was educational and fun for the children. They even got a little bee mascot to take home! The staff in the kids club welcomed you warmly and there was always a fun itinerary planned for the day on the wall. Aside from this the room and other areas like the pool look tired and need refresh it isn’t visually a 5* hotel. The staff are continuously working on the grounds to keep the upkeep, such as the gardens, as nice possible. The food in all restaurants was delicious including the buffet which had a different theme every night. The piazza had live music and comfy sofas to sit in at the evenings. As we were in our honeymoon they kindly invited us to a beachside meal at one of the restaurants where the menu was personalised and the table decorated which was a nice touch. There was a glass bottom boat which you could go in endlessly during your stay to see fish or other small marine life in the bay. The guide handed out sheets of the different kind of fish and their names which was handy! Good kids club but not much else to do for small kids outside of this and meal timings not age appropriate. At night you can see families with young kids walking around the piazza just waiting to get in to feed their children- 6.30 too late for children and 12.30 lunchtime. No buffet at lunchtime so takes a long time. If you want to eat in the kids club it’s the same timings but preorder. Maybe kids menu offered earlier at the pool? When we arrived after 20 hours of travel I asked about getting our 2 year old some lunch and everyone was really confused didn’t know what to suggest even though the pool side does food after 12.30. So does seem to be some miscommunication with staff throughout our stay. I think a clearer guide on arrival what’s included is needed for customers too. Ice cream truck not included for all inclusive but you can order the same thing via the waiters by the pool? Again no information of this anywhere its just by chanced I asked. Nice long selection of cocktails and mocktails. A few stray cats and dogs present who looked so healthy and happy it was nice to see, as it seems the hotel looks after them. On 3 occasions house keeping let themselves in our room after 9pm whilst us and our baby sleeping. Not appropriate. I know the turn down service is nice but we told them please do not do this for us we’re fine. We felt uncomfortable and our privacy invaded a bit as they didn’t wait for answer they

Best staff I’ve come across in any hotel or country around the world. Special shoutout to the staff at Sapori one of the restaurants at the hotel and one guy in particular goodswill one of the pool servers he was a really really top guy definitely will be visiting again in near future great hotel with amazing views. Couldn’t fault it.
