Drilling service, cordial reception. Rich activities and ancient history are deposited in every corner of the castle...all of which make people feel more comfortable and relaxed. Going to Ashford Castle Hotel is not to enjoy its luxury (it is not luxurious) but to enjoy time travel, experience the architectural art, decorative art, art of life, extreme service, and the beautiful surroundings of Ireland 800 years ago. natural scenery.

What a disappointment! We drove for several hours amid wind and rain in hopes of perhaps having coffee or even lunch at Ashford Castle. We walked up to the door and were promptly told by the head bellman that only residents could enter. We were not even allowed to use the restroom. Perhaps for residents, this might be an inviting place, but the lack of hospitality rates one star, and a promise never to return from us.

Love the Castle, grounds and fascilities. Very grand and traditional with a friendly and attentive service team. From the porters to the housekeeping, the bar staff, concierge and sommeliers - All help shape the allure of this fine resort.

The guard at the gate sets the tone for your stay here. Greats you with a warm, friendly smile, and a sincere welcome. The castle itself is a treat, and the surrounding grounds make the whole package complete. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We played golf, rented clubs and cart and the whole experience was seamless. Stroll the grounds and linger, it's a treat. Now I know what it's like a spend a few days as if you were royalty. When there make sure you take the Wolfhound walk. Trust me, it's so much more than a walk in the woods with dogs. James Knight leads the walk. He is a treasure. Get to the front desk early, put your Welly boots on and you'll be treated to a wonderful hour of wisdom and entertainment. Best, Tom and Angela

This was our 3rd visit to Ashford and can not wait to get the opportunity to go again From the moment you arrive you are given treated with 5 Star service The rooms are beautiful, the food is outstanding and the staff are impeccable The village is a 10 minute stroll from the castle

Ashford Castle was the best hotel we visited during our two week trip to Ireland. Not only does it have a top notch facility with excellent service, it offered numerous activities. These activities convinced us to change our plans for one of the days during our visit to stay on the estate to enjoy them. These included an Irish trio playing in their small dining area, a boat ride on the lake adjoining the estate, and the falconry experience. The latter two required an additional fee. The service was also excellent from the concierge to the restaurant staff, and housekeeping. If we get back to Ireland, we will be certain to visit Ashford Castle again!

Five star customer service, elegant room, delicious food. The star of the show was the castle and grounds. Gorgeous. Romantic. Loved walking their Irish Wolfhounds, the boat ride is a must, and the spa is stunning. Our two night stay was expensive but worth it. I hope our travels will take us back to Ashford Castle some day. Consider 3 nights. I still had more exploring to do when we had to leave!

Incredible experience to stay at Ashford Castle. Beautiful rooms, outstanding service, exceptional dining and stunning grounds and scenery. The rooms are exquisite and like nothing we’ve experienced before staying in five star hotels around the world. Would love to stay there again.
