Great National Hotel Ballina
"Excellent experience, everything 100% perfect"
The Lodge at Ashford Castle
"Absolutely stunning place near Ashford castle with access to castle garden. Nice activities, like walking with the dogs in the morning. Cosy room and excellent service, really felt Irish hospitality here. Great a la carte breakfast. A bit pricey, but worth every penny, 100% recommended"
McWilliam Park Hotel
"Nice room and facilities"
Moy Hotel
"Stayed two nights recently at the Moy Hotel. The stay was disappointing, firstly we looked for some food in the restaurant and we were told that the kitchen was now closed, despite being said in the literature in the room that last orders were at 20:30. We were not advised at check in that the kitchen would be closed early. The member of staff said that they cannot accommodate us and suggested we try somewhere else in the town even though we would have been happy with a sandwich or something light. The room was basic, no tea and coffee facilities and had to request them. The cleanliness of the room was basic, there was a towel on the back of the bathroom door from the earlier occupant and there was a lot of dust around the TV and the back of it. Breakfast was basic and not much of a choice, had to ask for orange juice, the staff member did not know if they had any. During the stay we attended a function, the meal was a sit down meal, the food itself was lovely, however the service was not. Many tables had finished their main course before other tables even got served. When checking out, this took ages for someone to come to the desk. Over all the stay was disappointing and that there are definitely not enough experienced staff around. I would eat there again, but I will not be staying."
Broadhaven Bay Hotel
"As someone who works in hospitality, I know how much of a difference great customer service can make, and this hotel certainly delivered. From check-in to departure, the experience was smooth, welcoming, and professional. A special mention must go to Megan at reception. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive throughout my stay. Her warm personality and willingness to assist with any queries made a lasting impression and set the tone for a fantastic visit. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, but it was the exceptional service that really stood out. Megan is a true asset to the team and a great example of the high standards that guests appreciate. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future."
Westport Coast Hotel
"Fantastic hotel a little out of the main town but ok if you like a 20 minute walk . You can also get a cab which is around 10 euro. Excellent food in the Bar restaurant"
Westport Plaza Hotel, Spa & Leisure
"Lovely spot to stay"
Ryan's Hotel
Delphi Resort Hotel & Spa
"The bunk bed ladder located too near the edge of the table poses danger to the kids accessing the ladder. My daughter bumped against the edge and had a bruise at her back. Otherwise, the day was enjoyable."

Achill Cliff House Hotel & Restaurant
"Centrally located and on the main road of Achill Island’s town, Keel, The Achill Cliff House Hotel delivers on all levels. Upon entering, we were greeted by Theresa who was a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history. Our room was sunny, large, quiet, with a comfortable bed. Wi-Fi was never a problem and actually was quite rapid. Breakfast was substantial and fresh. The Restaurant servers were so accommodating and always had a sparkle in their eyes. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the hotel. We had such a wonderful visit to Achill Island and we are so grateful to the staff of the Achill Cliff House Hotel."
Achill West Coast House
Mulranny House
Ceide Glamping
"Cute and cozy pods in the breathtaking countrtside. The owners are very nice and the pods were clean and comfortable. My concern at booking was that there wouldn't be much to do in the area, but we had plenty to do between Moyne Abbey, Downpatrick Head, and exploring the tide pools outside the pods, my family and my toddler had plenty to do while still having quiet down time."
Westport Woods Hotel & Spa
"Grand"
Breaffy House Hotel and Spa
"The scenery is beautiful, you can walk on the jungle lawn, the room is large in Europe, the breakfast is rich and tastes good, we ate it all, many people come here for vacation, it is very suitable for children or families, highly recommended"
Kiltimagh Park Hotel
"I can say how lovely this hotel is from cleanliness looks decor staff and food was excellent 19/10"
Ashville Guesthouse
"Lovely stay. Good spacious bright and airy room. Good choices for breakfast. Thank you."
Ashford Castle
"The castle hotel is magnificent and has first-class service. I have seen the top traditional luxury and warm service of Ireland in this hotel, which has expanded my life experience. It is impeccable. All the tableware used for breakfast is exquisite silver. The service staff is super professional and enthusiastic, making people feel cared for and respected. Absolutely full marks, looking forward to coming again!"
Old Mill Holiday Hostel
"I've been backpacking for 3 months and this is the worst place I have checked into so far. I left within an hour of arrival it was such a bad experience. I was told I must pay cash on arrival after giving my card details online. Went to the ATM and had to pay international fees to withdraw the cash, adding to the expense to stay. Got back and they had no change, so then would take my card.. Got up to the room and couldn't find any charging ports anywhere. Went for a shower, smelt of sewerage, water was cold. The shower set up means you are somewhat forced to put clothes on the floor, and the force of direction of the water caused my dry clothes to get wet. Spoke with reception about it all, their response was "we clean every day so it's not dirty" (??), and I was denied a refund. Not to mention that the place is just generally uncomfortable and doesn't really feel like the photos. It's very much overcharged, I just left without a refund. Wouldn't recommend."
