We drove all the way from Wisconsin to Houston, Texas. We decided to book a room here for a quick pit stop. We booked through *******. Upon arrival, manager (Robert is supposedly his name) said we had no reservation. After looking at our email- it did say that the reservation “failed”. So we decided to just book directly with him as it was late at night & we were exhausted. We get into our room & it was disgusting. Holes in the walls of the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen stuffed with toilet paper. Dirt all over the floors. Bed linens were a joke! I felt very unsafe as well. Windows don’t lock making it very easy for someone to break in. As this was a quick pit stop, we just ****** it up. However, this is when things continued to go downhill. At 11pm, we were all awakened by the hotel phone ringing. It was the manager telling us that the ******* booking went through. We asked him to cancel & he never did. So we paid DOUBLE the amount for the same room. After talking with *******, they told us to take it up with the hotel & the hotel told us vice versa. In addition, they charged us not ONCE but TWICE for the $50 deposit. All in all, we spent well over $200 for our stay & it was terrible. Either keep driving or find another hotel. This family loves to take innocent travelers money & lacks serious accountability.
