Charming historic home in quaint neighborhood. Loved all the family photos. Paul and Sharon were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Easy short walk to the charming town with delicious restaurants, as well as close by to Dallas. Wonderful location for a wedding and/or family event.

My husband and I had the sweetest visit to the Red Gate Inn and downtown McKinney. Paul and Sharon welcomed us to their beautiful B&B, we got settled in our gorgeous and comfortable room, and then we walked the short walk to downtown McKinney. We enjoyed the shops and a delicious dinner at Rick's and then came back to the B&B for a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We felt very pampered the entire visit. After just a short visit we would call the owners, Paul and Sharon, friends. They are just those kind of people. People that open their hearts and home to you and make you feel like family!

Such a lovely stay for our anniversary! Hosts Paul and Sharon were wonderful. The Room was clean, bed so comfy and breakfast was delicious! We love historic homes and this has such a wonderful history! Def will be back.

They say “you arrive as guests and leave like family”. And that statement is so true! My Mom, Aunt, and I stayed with Paul and his wife for a few nights this fall. They were very welcoming from the moment we drove up and made us feel like the inn was our home too. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Best sleep I’ve had in any inn! Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Red Gate Inn!! The house has been beautifully restored and is a piece of history. The owners are extremely friendly and know the area well. Our little guy already wants to go back to visit “Uncle Paul” as he told us to call him. We stayed in the Bluebonnet Room and it was great! Nice complimentary toiletries and soft towels! Loved the walk-in shower! And the breakfast the next morning was delicious. Can’t wait to go again!

My daughter and I stayed over night and Paul and his wife were amazing!!!! They were down to earth and made us feel at home.We stayed in the Yellow Rose and it was simply beautiful. The bed was comfortable and clear. The decor was rich in the entire house. Paul and his wife were makind breakfast for all the guest and felt like family. I will be back again "Uncle Paul".. as he invited us to call him Truly a very nice family... Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
