"We had a 3 day stay for golf outing and attended the CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament.  Our stay at the Denizen made our stay more enjoyable due to the location of local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.  We had a round of golf at Watters Creek which is close to the Denizen as well.  We will definitely return and stay at the Denizen due  to friendly staff and cleanliness of the facility."

"I made reservation, then followed up on special request for early check in by phone 2 days in advance speaking with GM Sutton, who sent me back letter via email. He agreed to allow me earlier check in. When I arrived early at 8am, the front desk clerk acted as though he knew anything about early checking, and informed me check in was 2pm. I advised I was there to work over weekend, and needed to shower, and dress for assignment That started at 11am. Once again he stated check in at 2pm. I Produce copy of letter sent by GM Sutton. Now the clerk had a new objection to my early check in. My reservation was for single queen bed, but he didn't have any. Ask him to call GM Sutton, but he refused, then said he didn't have a phone number. This early check in clerk was a nightmare. Beware of this motel ...no customer service even with a letter omfirming the early arrival."

"We arrived from a early morning flight and not check in time yet. Reception was able to get our roomed cleaned asap when housekeeping came, so that we could go in to rest. It meant a lot that they treated us like family. We appreciated the kind gesture and helping us in the lobby."

"It was ok for the price. The location is perfect for my needs. I was drawn to the size of the hotel. It offered a free breakfast and convenient parking. A few things were of concern. First, the faucet in the bathroom sink didn’t have the little screen on it. Everytime you use it, the water splashes everywhere. If there’s trash coming down the pipe, it’ll just come out. There was no guide to the tv and the picture wasn’t clear. Luckily I had an iPad with me. One thing I’ve noticed at other hotels is that they have clocks with USB-C plugs. That’s a great feature. Other than those suggestions, it was nice. The staff was accommodating and helpful."
