Een zeer warm welkom door gastheer Kurt, persoonlijke en gezellige benadering. De kamer was ruim, nette en milieuvriendelijke voorzieningen met oog voor smaak en detail.
Het ontbijt was geweldig met een persoonlijke Belgische touch aan heerlijke kaasjes en zelfgemaakte bijlage. Kurt dank voor alle nuttige info over jullie prachtige stad en de Belgische warmte die we hebben ervaren. Michiel en Nadine

Ik had voor mijn partner een verassingsweekend geboekt bij Porta Superia in Mechelen. Dat is uitstekend bevallen. Prettig contact met eigenaar Kurt in aanloop naar het weekend om alle voorbereidingen te treffen zoals het reserveren van restaurants. Er zijn diverse opties/aanvullingen te regelen indien gewenst. Kurt nam op de dag van aankomst contact op om de checkin af te stemmen. Dat was heel prettig. Bij aankomst als verassing een flesje cava op de kamer. De kamer zag er keurig uit met als extra de speciale waterbesparende welness douche. Kurt weet veel over Mechelen te vertellen en maakt een geweldig ontbijt voor je klaar. De ontbijtruimte is smaakvol ingericht en de hele dag beschikbaar evenals de hospitality bar. Bij mooi weer kun je ontbijten in de tuin. Een heerlijke start van de dag. De B&B ligt net buiten het oude centrum. Maar de afstanden in Mechelen zijn kort en per voet zijn alle bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. Zowel de stad als deze B&B zijn een aanrader.

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, beautifuly decorated rooms with great bed linens and bath products. The host, Kurt, is so gracious and helpful with tips on things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We could not eat breakfast the second day because of our flight time and Kurt made us breakfast to go and left it in the fridge for us. Everything is so well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Truly a 5 star place to stay!

Really cool rooms with a great host who was super knowledgeable and able to help out on things to do not only in Mechelen but all of Belgium. Easy to get to from main train station and easy walk into main square

Wat een super verblijf! Mooie kamer, goed bed en het ontbijt....Goddelijk ,echt fantastisch. En de lieve Kurt, wat een fantastisch lief persoon, alles zo vol met passie vertellen, van het slapen tot het naar de kroeg gaan alles kan hij je vol passie vertellen. Dit was onze eerste ervaring in een B&B maar ik ben er helemaal verliefd op, op de B&B /Kurt en het ontbijt.

Great location and walking distance from the train station. Clean rooms and quiet!!! Kurt was very friendly, professional and accommodating. he allowed us to check in early. he provided us with a great history of Mechelen and the area. Love the shower and the natural hair & skin products (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner). I definitely stay there again!!!

This is where you want to stay in Mechelen. 25 minutes from Antwerp and 25 minutes from Brussels. Amazing ice cream at the Cacao Project. Lovely host, who is happy to give you lots of terrific sightseeing and dining options. Beautiful.

We hebben zopas een weekendje Mechelen achter de rug met als ideale, schitterende uitvalsbasis Porta Superia. Ligging is perfect, net buiten de drukte maar toch zeer dicht bij het centrum. Veel parkeermogelijkheden in de buurt. En vooral excellente ontvangst van de gastheren ! Perfecte kamer, perfect ontbijt, vriendelijkheid ten top, ... En niet te vergeten, een leuke douche-ervaring ! Als we punten dienen te geven : 10/10 ! We komen zeker nog terug. Ludwig en Christelle.

Heel vriendelijke en hoffelijke gastheer en dit in een huiselijk kader. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en een zalige vernevelingsdouche. De kamer bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. De b&b ligt vlak aan het centrum en station zodat je de wagen niet echt nodig hebt.
