Cyan Suites

I do a lot and use ************ for my bookings. But always check the reviews on Tripadvisor beforehand. Cyan Suites had good reviews. So I looked up Cyan Suits at ************ and compared the prices. OK. I thought. the price is right. I started booking. When I wanted to complete the booking, the price suddenly changed. Wow. I thought. It can quickly happen that you book and suddenly confirm the higher price. Since I wasn't far from Cyan Suites, I went there in person and wanted to clarify the matter on site and book it straight away. There was only one employee at the reception on site. Sure, it's not a hotel either. I showed him what I found when booking and said that it was not acceptable. His comment was succinct; it's just high season. I wanted to speak to his superior. Oh, he's not interested in things like that. Wow, I thought. I wanted his name and he wouldn't give it to me either. Wow. Now I wanted the boss's phone number. He refused to do this either. Now it got too much for my wife and she wanted to leave. But I told her that I would not accept this and that I wanted to speak to the boss. I should go and find another hotel. Wow. My wife had enough and left. I told the gentleman that I wanted contact from the hotel manager or the tourist police. But he called the Policia Nacionol. Surprisingly, 2 police officers came very quickly. Of course these gentlemen supported the gentleman at the reception. I told the police that I would now complete the booking with ************ in front of them. With the higher price. So I stay and have the opportunity to speak to the boss the next day. I booked and the booking was confirmed to me by ************. I now heard that one of the police officers asked the gentleman at the reception if he could delete the booking. No, I can't because I don't have access. But he began to write eagerly in the system. Then he printed out a sheet showing that I had changed my booking from January 5th to 6th to January 13th and 14th. He showed this to the police officers. They said that I didn't have a booking for today and that I should go now. Unbelievable that an employee manipulates a confirmed booking from ************ and nothing happens. Now I told the police officers that I would like to have their name, the name and telephone number of the management of Cyan Suits and the name of the man at the reception. And suddenly I got the names. Sure, I didn't have a reservation for today. It's clear that I won't be checking in here a week later. The changed reservation wasn't mine. On the same day I wrote to the person in charge, Mr. Carlos Alberto Usuga Arias, and explained the situation to him. He is the Gerente Comercial of Cyan Suites in Medellín. No reaction. A
