"Facilities: The hotel is newly opened and relatively new, similar to self-built hotels popular in Sichuan and western China. However, perhaps because it's new, they use perfume to mask the formaldehyde smell; the perfume was extremely strong upon check-in, giving me a headache. I specifically told the housekeeping staff not to use it, and it got better later. Service: Check-in was extremely slow. Perhaps because Medellín is a tourist city, everyone checks out late, resulting in late cleaning. We arrived at 4 PM, and our room hadn't been cleaned yet. We waited in the lobby for half an hour before we could check in. This wasn't an isolated incident; during our four-day stay, cleaning wasn't done until 4 or 5 PM each day. When we returned in the afternoon to drop off our belongings, the room still wasn't cleaned. Environment: The restaurant is on the hotel rooftop, with a nice night view. However, there's construction across the street, which can be a bit noisy."

"They say when you visit a place the Magic is in the people and let me begin by saying the staff at the Dave hotel is some of the most accommodating, caring and professional staff. I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have stayed at hotels all over the world, including the four seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Ritz, Carlton, Nobu, hotels, and Conrads. The Magic of these places is the white glove field at the staff is able to curate and create. That Magic was multiplied here, and I am confident to say that every person on the staff made me and my friends feel welcome and at home. Mateo, the general manager runs this hotel, like oh well oiled machine, and has hired a staff of overachievers. Throughout the day Edison and the concierge were proactively ahead of all of our needs and readily available to help us plan a dinner, call a Driver, and assist us with anything we needed down to getting us items from the local grocery store to sending someone to exchange dollars for us. The rooms were nice and cleanly. Very modern feel with a BoHo vibe. A Jacuzzi in the middle of the room was perfect for after my marathon. I will be returning to Provenza and will always make sure to stay at this hotel. 10 out of 10 stars and an absolutely amazing experience."
