Very nice property, although our room overlooked the Macdonald’s and was often noisy from the drive thru snd delivery trucks. A couple of strange things… a delivery of two packages clearly addressed to me and my travelling companion were refused by reception causing a lot of trouble to locate and have them delivered again. Never had that happen before in 40 years of travel. A young waiter in the restaurant was so anxious to provide service that when we asked a question about something on the menu he immediately assumed we wanted it and practically ran away to put in the order with us calling him back. This happened several times and became funny after a while.
Jonathon on the front desk was extremely helpful in arranging transportation, tours and just providing helpful information. Thank you Jonathon!

Pues el trato del todo el personal fue siempre muy amable y siempre con una sonrisa enorme durante nuestras estancia allá en el hotel, él desayuno siempre delicioso y toda su comida, tragos exquisito recomendado por Paola y Jasmin en el área de alimentos y bebida del hotel.

If this had been advertised as a 3 star property I would have given it a good review but given it is marketed as a 5 star hotel it is really poor. The hotel is old fashioned and in need of an update. This hotel offers absolutely no facilities / amenities - no gym, no rooftop bar/pool etc. The breakfast was one of the worst I have experienced in a hotel - even though it was included in our rate the 2nd morning we ate out. At check out they wanted to charge us for items we had purchased elsewhere - they didn't push this once we explained we had purchased off site but it was disappointing that we had to have this discussion with them. The location is really good though - walkable to nice places to eat and it was a safe street at all times of day. The beds were also comfy and it was a good price, if graded correctly this would be a solid 3 star hotel but unfortunately we went with higher expectations given the ratings and reviews.

I booked this hotel for 2 night before a tour, so this review is on my first room before the tour which was another category level. I booked on ***********, upon arrival I was upgraded to what looked like a Jr suite. It was well appointed and in pretty good condition. Clean, nice bed linens and lots of room. I had 2 complaints which keeps this from being 5 star experience. My room faced McDonald's and on top of their roof are two spot lights that shown directly in my room on the 5th fl. The curtain helped but I could still see filtered light through them. Second, the water has way too much chlorine in it. the moment you turn on the faucet you can smell it. It's like having Clorox come out of the spout. I brushed teeth and washed face only with bottled water. and I bought enough water to pour over my skin after my shower, just to try to remove some of it's drying affect. Although practically no one spoke English, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a tourist area but it's also very close to many things. It has a walking score of about 8 in my opinion. The restaurant has some decent food. Breakfast is included and they have an omelet station, so it's fresh. I also had a wonderful dish fried cheese and grilled tomatoes with fresh basil drizzled with honey. It was amazing!
