We stayed in this hotel from 31/1 to 6 February 2024. Nice structure, well maintained and above all clean. Staff always available and very kind. The rooms are small but well organised, the double bed is comfortable and almost too large, the extra one instead it is a disaster, mattress with external springs and small. The kitchen, as already well explained by others, is of mediocre quality of food and above all always the same. Practically it is a continuous recycling. The breakfast however is saved. Therefore I advise you to do not take full board. Regarding the island of Dhiffushi I advise you not to leave with too many expectations. It is a constant finding of abandoned building material waste and plastic bottles everywhere, as well as old disused nautical engines almost on the beach. In the evening in the near the port, they burn everything on a sort of grill that recalls village festivals but instead of roasting the meat, they incinerate rubbish. The island is being excessively anthropized, with many open construction sites. Obviously once you find the beach you prefer, you are still in an earthly paradise. Will we go back? Probably not on Dhiffushi but definitely yes on another Atoll.

As a travel agent I stayed with a group the first week of January. It is not a facility for Italians. Poor and poor quality food, as well as spicy and inedible. Dark and cramped rooms as well as smelling of mold. Small bathroom with constant sewage backflow, which makes the air in the room practically unbreathable. At 8 in the morning you are woken up by the housekeeper who is in a hurry to make up the room and keeps knocking until you wake up. The service, from reception to the lounge, is practically non-existent, slow, annoyed, unreliable. No reviews report that the island is equipped with an incinerator (plastic) which makes the air heavy and unhealthy. There is only one beach worthy of note, the sunset beach, but be careful, if you want it clean you will have to manage to collect bottles and rubbish of various kinds on your own. The other guest houses on the island were also horrifying, apart from one, newly built (7 floors high, therefore unsightly at best) The Stone Hotel, which will probably be pleasant for 12/24 months and which will then fall into decay, like all the others.

I chose this structure a bit by chance, but I must say that the choice turned out to be perfect. The location is very convenient, close to the port and two beautiful beaches on the island (Sunset beach in particular was my favourite). The services are all there... they even take your suitcases from the boat that arrives from Malè to your room... welcome drink, 24-hour assistance. I personally had some problems with my cell phone disconnecting from the network and they always helped me from time to time. The reception staff were very kind… unfortunately I don't remember the name, but special thanks go to the girl who comes from Sri Lanka. We only tried the restaurant once because we preferred to change every evening and also see the other options on the island. But we found the breakfast quite good and varied. Finally, the structure has a souvenir shop and a recreational area with billiards etc. where you can spend a few hours in case of rain. Excellent cleaning. I have read some reviews where they complain about the lack of linen change... it is indicated that this must be explicitly requested from the staff. I did it and my bed linen and towels were changed when I wanted!

Wonderful local island experience. Nothing was too much bother for the friendly staff. Food was nice, plenty. Island did not have much to do but the kids loved it. Hotel was nice, clean and new. Would come back!

Hello, I decided to write a review, while everything is fresh in my memory, we arrived yesterday. We flew with Aeroflot Moscow to Male, takeoff and landing were all excellent! The food was delicious, twice, juices, cola, beer, wine, in general, I liked everything) We arrived in Male early in the morning , went through control quite quickly, found our operator, we were all gathered in one place, we and 2 other families went to the island. The hotel is located on the island of Dhiffushi, Kaafu Atoll, this is a local island, that is, the local population also lives here, This is what makes it different from the island resort. We arrived at the hotel, were greeted with a welcome cocktail and a cool towel to freshen up! We didn’t fill out any documents, we just signed, and after 15 minutes we were given the keys to the room. The room was on the 3rd floor, the hotel staff helped us bring everything in. The room not big but cozy, everything was present, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, two bottles of water, everything was replenished daily during room cleaning. Very large and comfortable bed, snow-white linen. In the bathroom, containers with dispensers, shampoo, shower gel and body cream. We were satisfied with everything! In terms of food, there wasn’t a lot of food but everything was very tasty, the cook was great, he repeatedly came into the room and asked if everything was okay) We had full board, a buffet. There is also paid meals according to the menu - we ordered, delicious! I had enough food, very tasty fruits and fish) There was beef and chicken, various side dishes, no one died of hunger) Beach - there are beaches around the island, choose any! We fell in love with one, on it and spent all our time swimming with a mask, there are a lot of stingrays, there are reef sharks, and small sharks) a lot of fish, and what a sunset!!! That’s what it’s called, sunset beach) The locals are very friendly, it was very interesting to talk to and see them everyday life and delve into their culture! We didn’t go on excursions - we already had enough emotions, and why would they if the ocean is nearby! We left in the morning, said goodbye to the staff as relatives, were escorted to the pier and waved after us when we sailed away! Conclusion, we liked the holiday, yes there are some disadvantages, but there are much more advantages! Who needs a luxury holiday, welcome to resorts for a lot of money! The ocean and sand are exactly the same, and I don’t see the point in overpaying! Thank you very much to the hotel staff, and we would certainly come back here again!

Stayed at this hotel for 16 nights and we are so grateful we made this particular choice. The accomodation was nice and cozy. Everything was relatively new. You can refill your drinking water as much as you want. Tea and coffee are provided daily. Hot water in the shower works perfect comparing to another island. The food on the a la carte menu is the best on the island. We have tried prawn tempura, grilled Maldivian whitefish, pasta, pizza, etc. Everything was fresh and so delicious. But the lobster was the one to die for. We told the Chef Maaish in advance about lobster dinner so he could arrange today's catch, and it was oh my God good. Came to the conclusion that Maldivian lobster is the best and not pricey comparing for example to Dominican Republic or Mexico. The service is exceptional. The staff is amazingly welcoming. Special thanks to sweet Lubana for educating us on traditional local life, Maldivian culture in general and to dear Sohag for taking such good care of us and our room: we really enjoyed his flowers-towels compositions, we wouldn't stop smiling as we entered the room. Also we are truly blessed to meet Reem, Mafaz, Robiul and the gardener mister Mohamed Shareef. They made our stay so wonderful we didn't want to leave. Looking forward to seeing them again.

A very pleasant hotel where they take great care in dealing with customers both in room service and in the restaurant, terrace and reception. Very helpful in organizing the arrival and return when booking the boat. The rooms are very well maintained and the cleaning service is very good. The restaurant's menu is very correct and the terrace highlighted the very good smoothies to enjoy while watching the sunset.

Excellent central locatiion, Clean rooms, friendly staff, good facilities and excellent food. They seem to have the best chefs around at Dhiffushi. They have their own beach which is an excellent one. The sea facing rooms have excellent view. Good to get woken up by the morning rays of the sun. We had a wonderful stay for three nights. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Dhiffushi Island.. Would like to mention about Shah who was very helpful for us. Some learning- Please take a copy of the tickets for the ferry. There can be confusion sometimes. We had one where the ferry did not take us from Male; however hotel staff promptly supported us with an alternate speed boat. Please get your room allocations checked as per your booking before you check in. Please get the planning done well and ahead for water activities. You can for look outside the hotel too for options.. There is a store nearby where we get most essentials if needed.

We had the most amazing holiday. We were at this hotel for 20 days full board. We had a fab room on the top floor with a sea view. Not for anyone with a mobility issue as there is no lift. The room itself has all the amenities you need. An ironing board and iron. A hairdryer. A desk with desk lamp. A kettle with 2 mugs and coffee/tea. A small fridge with small top freezer. I have a dairy intolerance and the fridge was great for keeping my soya milk and bottles of water cold. There is complimentary drinking water every day. The bathroom has shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. It also has two hanging lines in the shower area for the daily rinsed out beach stuff. I found this incredibly helpful. Towels are changed everyday if needed. The room is looked after by the same member of staff. We had Sohag ( pronounced Shoehug) looking after our room. He never failed to to do a good job. We had the safe changed after the one we were using failed. We had the most amazing time and loved our room.
