Het hotel is prachtig! Op loopafstand van de gondel naar de Haliberg. Heel aardig personeel! We hebben een week verbleven in het hotel met de organisatie ‘Hollandse skiweken’. In de kelder is een mooie ruimte om je skispullen te laten drogen, vervolgens kan je in 5-10 minutjes lopend bij de gondel naar de hasliberg. Het is een prachtig skigebied, niet super groot maar je kunt je er prima een week vermaken.

Nice hotel with very frendly People. Nice food and big room. I like the style of the building very much. The breakfast was great and our room was cleaned every day. In the basement there are possibilitys to dry your ski's and shoes. There is also a nice Irish pub.

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour, le petit déjeuner était bien complet peu de pains différents.
Dommage qu’il manque des sacs dans la poubelle dans la chambre .

Nous avons acheté par e-boutic .ch Un bon pour un séjour de 4 nuitées Au moment de réserver, seul le mois de novembre est disponible. Nous avons téléphoné à l’hôtel.pour prolonger le délai. Nous avons dû faire notre demande par e-Mail. Pas de réponse! Nous avons à nouveau appelé, ils nous indiquent de refaire un e-mail…. Pas de réponse! Nous les appelons et là, leur réponse est : la maison qui a émis le bon est en faillite! Cela nous donne l‘image de cet hôtel!!! Nous sommes à Meiringen en Suisse !!! Et non à l’étranger. Ce serait un cas pour Kassensturz ou À bon entendeur!

Grote kamer en een heerlijk bed. Fijn zitje in de grote kamer.
Badkamer behoeft een modernisering. Tegels kapot, douchen in bad met douche gordijn die niet meer van deze tijd is.
Er was geen airco en er was een klein ventilatortje die de warmte niet aan kon.
Uitzicht en ambiance vangnet hotel was erg mooi.

We had one night here en route to the south, but would like to come back and explore the area further. We thought that the room rate and breakfast were excellent value, particularly for Switzerland. The hotel has been well maintained to a good 4 star level (it's a 5 star review, but for a 4 star hotel). Nice, old fashioned decor (1890s Belle Epoque meets 1980s), lovely people at reception, a grand room for the restaurant (not used) and for breakfast) and very comfortable beds. We will return!

Vu depuis l'extérieur, c'est un bel immeuble. Les salles communes aussi. Par contre, les chambres sont vraiment vieillottes, mobilier vraiment très simple. Le lit, c'est deux lits de 90cm, ancien sommier en métal, pas vraiment au goût du jour. La salle de bain style année 70/80 avec une très mauvaise lumière et un simple rideau de douche dans la baignoire et à la fenêtre rideau blanc, style rideau de douche aussi. Nous n'avions pas l'impression d'être dans un 4 étoiles. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Le personnel à l'accueil ne parlait pas le français, uniquement suisse-allemand et anglais, dommage le français est quand même une langue nationale. Si nous retournons un jour dans la région, nous choisirons un autre hôtel.
