The property has been recently renovated. It showcases old school Hollywood glamor with soft shades of purple, classic glass fixtures and plush couches. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, jumping at any opportunity to help. The location is minutes to the CBD by car and to the Botanical Garden by foot. The Showcase Bar is just that, a showcase. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again. Very special kudos to Nate and Kelly.

An ok 4* but not a 5. We found the balcony room small for the ratings. No we were not allowed to have a yoga mat to use in our room. Mo theres only 1 pillow type and our $1600 wasnt enough to send someone out to get us a choice. No, we cant have a spare bed runner to use as a pillow, theres none to spare(?!!). No, there is no pool, no spa. The team are friendly, but have very firm limits on how far theyll go to help.

My husband and I had 5 nights at The Royce and loved our stay. Our room (301) was very comfortable and had one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in. I’ve now bought a pillow topper for our bed at home to recreate the comfort. We had a balcony off our room which had an outdoor setting with plush cushions. There were great teas, a coffee pod machine and Molton Brown toiletries We had breakfast every morning in the conservatory restaurant. There was a large menu and everything we tried was delicious. Coffee was very good Each night we had a glass of wine in the Showroom Bar and we had a lobster roll and octopus one night Service was friendly and helpful We would be happy to stay at the Royce next time we’re in Melbourne

Stunning boutique hotel once a Rolls-Royce showroom and you can still feel that. Art Deco style. Loads of chrome, mirrors with a blingy feel. Rooms are sumptuous luxury. Staff very friendly and helpful. My one disappointment was breakfast. I ordered crumpets which took forever to arrive so our coffee was finished and tea stewed and cold. They were not like any crumpet I had ever had. Other than that, this is amazing hotel in a good location. Walk to Botanical Garden and short tram ride from outside the hotel into the city or a 20 min walk to South Yarra high street. There are cafes and restaurants close by. Domain Village 10 mins walk good for cafes as well.

Beautifully appointed hotel with wonderful service very clean. Front desk staff very accommodating and helpful; a special thank you to Jocelyn for offerin such a friendly and personal touch. Modern atmosphere presents with a lot of glitz and glamor, but feels welcoming and relaxed. Made me feel a little "special" while I stayed here. Did not try the bar or restaurant during our visit, but both looked lovely. Very close to two tram stops, but a little far from the city's main action. Overall, I would recommend a stay for the customer service and luxurious atmosphere.

Gorgeous hotel, fabulous restaurant and super convenient location. The staff were amazing. They made our stay so special. But noisy outside because of some roadworks but still lovely and quiet when we sat on our balcony for morning coffee. The shower had a minor issue was was fixed in minutes, so professional and responsive.
