Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne ★★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. It's perfect for city walks, and you can easily reach all the attractions on foot. The front desk staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite substantial. It would be even better if the menu rotated more frequently."
Crown Towers Melbourne ★★★★★
As the pinnacle of Australian luxury, this world-class hotel delivers lavish rooms, an award-winning spa, and unparalleled views over the city skyline and Port Phillip Bay.
Yehs Hotel Melbourne CBD ★★★★
"This is the second stay at this hotel, where the room is just the right size for two people, clean, fully equipped with electrical appliances, including a portable heating system. The room I got this time had a city view, quiet, no noise disturbance. I was impressed with the service from the staff and the luggage storage service both before and after check-in."
Pegasus Apart'Hotel ★★★★
"Comfortable hotel and nearby walking distance to lots of restaurants, grocery and Queen Victoria market"
Mercure Melbourne City Centre ★★★★
Enjoy a central location steps from major tram lines, placing the best of Melbourne’s bustling retail and cultural scenes within reach.
The Howey ★★★★
"The best affordable hotel we have stayed so far. The staffs were super friendly and even have a cafe on the ground floor! Perfect place to stay when you want to enjoy shopping and eating area!👍🏻❤️ love it and definitely go back again!!"
YTI Garden Hotel ★★★
"This was a clean and comfortable hotel! They had all the basic amenities like towels, a hairdryer, and shampoo, plus tea and coffee. The location was incredibly convenient; it was great to be able to walk back in just 5-10 minutes after shopping or spending time at a cafe. The reception staff were very kind; in my case, even though it was before the official check-in time, they let me into my room because it was ready. I felt they offered excellent service for the price in Melbourne. I'd definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Melbourne!"
The Canvas Apartment Hotel ★★★★
"The room was great, very spacious, and equipped for cooking with all the necessary utensils and tools. A hairdryer was also provided. The view was lovely, and the tram station was right downstairs, with plenty of restaurants nearby."
Rydges Melbourne ★★★★
"It was a holiday, specifically Chinese New Year's Eve, and after a friend's recommendation, my family and I came to Melbourne and chose this hotel. It certainly lived up to expectations! It's located right in the bustling city center, and the grid-like transportation system makes getting around incredibly convenient. Malls, fast-food restaurants, various international cuisines, and even Chinatown are just a few steps away. Plus, personalized tours can pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel entrance. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the restaurant staff were very welcoming. Everything felt warm and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

Crowne Plaza MELBOURNE by IHG
"Hotel room nice … morning breakfast normal"
Nomads St Kilda
"This hostel is located in St. Kilda. It seems to be a chain hostel, as there's another one in downtown Melbourne with the same name. The room was overcrowded for its size, making it feel like a chicken coop. There was only one bathroom for all the people, so having to use the one in the lobby bar was inconvenient. Also, having to download an app to use the keypad wasn't very appealing. Breakfast was limited to pancakes and toast, but it was free, so that's understandable. The soy milk and lemon juice were really nice, and the cheap happy hour beers were really nice."
Nightcap at the Cheeky Squire
"The location of the hotel is good and the service is OK. It's just too noisy at night because there is a bar upstairs. And the hot and cold water switch of the shower is a bit difficult to adjust."
Best Western Plus Buckingham International
"At this price point and location, what more could you ask for, really? This time, the hotel was very central, super close to the Rainbow Village and the beach, all just a little over a one-minute drive away."

The Hotel Windsor
"Tremendous service and experience, as always. Room 417 is lovely and quiet, even though it is only steps away from the lifts. No views (window faces into courtyard) but when you're that close to Treasury Gardens and Spring Street, it's delightful to be able to shut out the world and relax in your cozy den."
Park Inn By Radisson Melbourne Carlton
"Everything was great , room was clean and staff was helpful. Only thing I wasn’t happy with., no water pressure."
Avani Melbourne Central Residences
"The location is fantastic, very close to Queen Victoria Market with easy access to all types of transport. They even upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite for free! The living room is a bit small, but the kitchen is well-equipped. The only downsides were the very limited tissues and laundry detergent."
Stamford Plaza Melbourne
"Conveniently located in the CBD, with Chinatown nearby, making shopping and dining very accessible. The breakfast is excellent and caters well to Chinese tastes, offering a good variety. It's also within walking distance to several attractions. Plus, the buses in the CBD are free!"
