"I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the management’s handling of a recent booking cancellation. Due to a major Telstra outage, my V/Line train was unexpectedly cancelled. I was only notified of this disruption the night before my scheduled arrival. While I completely understand and respect standard 24-hour cancellation policies, this situation was entirely beyond my control. Upon receiving the news, I immediately contacted the hotel. I spoke with a lovely gentleman on the night shift who was incredibly empathetic, understood my situation, and kindly advised me to call back in the morning to speak with management. When I called the following morning, the manager acknowledged the widespread issue, even noting that 20% to 30% of their guests had been similarly affected by the V/Line cancellations. Despite recognizing that this was a massive, systemic transit issue rather than a standard guest cancellation, the manager refused to offer any flexibility or refund. As a regular customer who has frequently chosen this hotel, I expected a higher level of customer service and goodwill, especially given the extraordinary circumstances. Regrettably, due to this rigid approach and lack of consideration for loyalty, I will no longer be booking with them in the future. It is a real shame."

"The location of this hotel is fantastic. We felt very secured at night as there are no access to the mall after 8:30pm and only hotel guests are able to access. Services are really great and staff are friendly and helpful. Room is a bit smaller but very new and clean."

The room itself was very comfortable, and the overall facilities and service were top-notch. It's rare to find a hotel in Melbourne with such convenient transport links and amazing food options nearby. It offers excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it!"
