GGuest UserVery clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed.
The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service
I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team.
My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road.
I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine.
I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet.
Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price.

GGuest UserStayed six nights in a 6-bed mixed dorm with shared bathroom. The location is the main selling point — right in the CBD, walking distance to Melbourne Central and the free tram zone, so getting around the city is easy. Staff were helpful and responsive whenever we had questions.
The room and shared bathrooms were kept reasonably clean, though with six people sharing, tidiness depends a lot on who you’re rooming with. Facilities cover the basics — lockers, kitchen, rooftop area — functional rather than luxurious, which is about what you’d expect at this price point.

AAnonymous UserLocation: easy 3-6 min walk to Southern Cross station and the skybus station which made reaching the hotel from melbourne airport extremely convenient (~40 mins). It's close to many cozy and prolific cafés for breakfast/brunch, lunch. Ease of access to gift shops, electronics, and post boxes as well.
Amenities: Gym is available. Laundry with washers and dryers are also available but prepare coins.
Security: Staffed during the day, and the automatic doors in the main hotel entrance could only be opened with keycards at night. Good safety.
Service: Hospitable staff. Had issues with my room and they were happy to assist.
Room: I booked the single room. Quaint and tiny. Room's very dark and quiet at night. Great sleep. Bathroom is equipped with heat lamps and exhaust fans which made super comfortable for a winter stay. Didn't use the AC much but I tried it out just to see that it worked. Runs well even though it's a bit noisy if you're sleeping. Towels and sheets mostly clean. I noticed some stains on the bedding once but otherwise good.

CCheung Tse TravelI am extremely satisfied this time. The entire hostel with great location, the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms—was perfectly clean. In particular, it's quite rare for hostels to have private bathrooms in the rooms, and they clean them every day. The beds also have their own power outlets and reading lights, and they are very spacious, so I slept really well throughout the whole trip. Everyone staying here is highly disciplined, maintaining a very quiet and peaceful environment at night. When a minor misunderstanding arose, the management responded and handled it immediately, which I truly appreciate. However, the training for the part-time staff could be slightly improved. Thank you for providing such an affordable and excellent price for travellers. From413A

GGuest UserA bit of a worry to start with, as we would arrive outside of reception hours, but we eventually got the process sorted. The first room we had a key for had not been serviced since the previous occupants, so we refused. The out of hour contact number, immediately sorted the problem and provided a new room - which was clean and great for our needs.
Good location in a quite area of Melbourne, good food to be found locally.
Overall, I'd stay here again, just a shame that first impressions weren't great (but the stay ended up being fine)

GGuest UserThe location is good but other than that I would not call it a pleasant stay. Rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty. They clean regularly but apparently not thoroughly. Power on my bunk did not work. The room has a 'temporary' AC which has collected dust like it has been there for a while already and it is unbearably loud. The exhaust air of this is routed to a closed window, therefore all the air stays in the room. Luckily I figured that out and opened the window the 2nd night but the AC still was loud.
For $80 a night I do expect more.

JJessatwildThe hotel's location is excellent, right in front of an MRT station, making transportation very convenient. There's also a small convenience store and a mala tang restaurant nearby. The main source of noise comes from the adjacent parking garage, where people sometimes chat, get drunk, and shout. Generally, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff are also very willing to provide whatever you need. Plus, having a small kitchenette is a bonus, and you can exchange or borrow a hairdryer. For the price, it definitely offers good value. So, for the other aspects like noise, wearing earplugs helps, and the cleanliness is also up to par.
