City Centre Budget Hotel Reviews

I had myself a good experience at the City Centre budget hotel, which was a great location close to everything and trams.

The location is perfect but the toilets and shower area were shabby. You wouldn’t see many staffs there to support you with anything. My stay was for 3 nights and they never came to clean or replace the towels. Was ok for me being a solo traveller and economical option, but wouldn’t recommend for families looking for a decent stay. Location is perfect , safe premises , no elevators , no staffs after office timing which is 5pm

Getting there was abit of way. Bed was super nice and well made. Only bad thing was no free complimentary stuff such as shampoo, conditioner etc. forgot mine at home and was looking forward to find one usually in the room.

Rooms are a bit small, but it's fine, not a bad stay

The room we stayed in was clean. There was no elevator and it was very difficult to carry heavy luggage. It was conveniently located close to the tram and train stations, but there was no air conditioning so we had to open the windows, but there was a multi-storey parking lot next door and many shops nearby that were open until late. It was so noisy, and the light was shining through the curtains, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the shower was the worst and probably wasn't cleaned properly, and the drainage was so bad that the shower room I used on the first day had water over 10 centimeters below the floor. The staff were friendly, but they didn't tell me the lock number for the entrance and exit, and I didn't know that it would be locked at certain times, so I was a bit confused. Another guest helped me at the same time, so I was able to get inside, but if the timing had been different, I would have been in a lot of trouble. ★For those in Japan. The level is completely different from the 5-6,000 yen hotels in Japan. It may be good for tourists, but I don't recommend it for tourists.

Good location, cheap price, convenient for traveling, near public transportation.

I was glad that the location was easily accessible from the city center. It was a bit inconvenient that there were no outlets near the desk or bed, so I couldn't work or sleep while charging my devices.

The room smelled of sweat, which was disgusting. It seemed like I hadn't showered for hundreds of years. The smell was so strong that I felt dizzy every time I pushed open the door. After a long time in, I was assimilated. I really don't know how I survived every night. It was a family hotel. The son's service was okay, but the father's attitude was indifferent and everything was about money. There was no elevator and I had to move my luggage by myself. I asked him to move it and he agreed to do it, but he turned around and hid in the next room, deliberately not coming out, pretending to be deaf and dumb. The only advantage is the location. It is convenient to the subway opposite the city hall. The environment is really dirty, and there are curly white hair on the windowsill. 🤢

It was very hot and humid, but considering the location and price, it was OK. The toilets and showers were shared, and the cleanliness was acceptable. There is no elevator, so it may be difficult to get to the top floor. But considering the location and price, it may be a great choice...!
