We had an early check in (which was unheard off without a cost these days) though our intention was to check if carpark/care off luggages were available. The room was a good size with TV in every room. The living space was huge and there were complimentary drinks and snacks in the room and at the lobby. It was a plesant expereince with amenities at bay - banks, restaurants, cafes, malls.

Fantastic experience for me & teenager kids. We loved being so close to the Princess Theatre & great cafes & food & city centre. The staff were so welcoming and even changed the bar fridge when I said I’m not drinking alcohol so they changed it to suit us! Lollies & chomps in the lobby we’re a favourite and the towels & beds made each day. Staff outlined a map for suggestions & we felt so welcomed with a Jenga game & smiles! Definitely coming back. Home away from home in Melbourne.

Thanks ovolo for the wonderful stay! Awesome mini bar and light breakfast snacks. The coffee machine at the lobby was a godsend during winter. Close to both the tram and train station too!

Perfectly located hotel with the friendliest staff in town! It’s wonderful that you can stay with your dog and the park is around the corner. You even get unlimited treats and the dogs do too!

I was so impressed with ovolo laneways! The staff were super friendly and so accomodating, nothing was a problem. They had freebies galore, best hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. Would 100% recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back

The hotel provides free unlimited water and milk, which is very rare. Most of the hotels we stayed in Australia did not have water. The service is also good, with staff 24 hours a day. The only inconvenience is that the parking spot is a bit far away.

Excellent location within 50 metres of princess theatre, front house staff were engaging and helpful. Bags delivered to room whilst we parked. Extra are nice touch.

Good location for walking around CBD. Good dining options (very near a wide variety of Asian restaurants). Very friendly staff.

Laneways by Ovolo is the perfect city location. We travelled with our 4 month old and stayed in an accessible room. Everything was smooth and the room was the perfect size for a pram and cot. A modern hotel with cosy and fashionable interiors.

Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff. Great location. Clean room and facilities. The free 'little extras' in the foyer for guests.

Central location but no info available re the closest trams or any info about the room so I didnt know how to work the air con. Very quiet given that its location is right in Melb. Friendly staff. No extra blankets or pillows available. No microwave. Limited supply of tea and coffee and UHT milk in the fridge. No snacks provided that you didnt have to pay nosebleed high prices for. Clean and comfortable.

Great location but quite noisy where my room looked out onto the street

Great east end location, close to theatres, cafes, restaurants and bars. Boutique style with cool decor and free lollies etc. Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stay again.
