Jasper Boutique Hotel

Melbourne Central Business District
Excellent location. Clean linen. Hotel room needs an update, cleaner carpet and a good scrub all over. Invest in new pillows, carpet and cleaning products and housekeeping and hospitality oriented staff. No internet for entire stay. Management seems to have dropped off since a few years ago when it was excellent. Staff blamed guests for any issues raised, rather than address hygiene or technology shortcomings. Such a shame. Look forward to better days, as hotel is surrounded by great places and right on transport to get everywhere around Melbourne.
Ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments

We are so glad that they let us check-in at earliest around 12pm since there is available room. Just arrived from our flight and the reception is super helpful and understanding. We did early check-out 8ish and reception stored our luggages safely and securely with bagtags while we are exploring the city all day. It was worry free in terms of luggages. The hotel is near to Queen Victoria Market and I am so happy to grab some breakfast and also, you can buy cost efficient Australian souvenirs. Also, near to Tram and Train stations. The room is clean especially the toilet.

Only thing i love about this apartment is the location. Its near to kultiple convinience store and a tran station just infront of it. Its also a 5 minutes walk to Queen Victoria Market. Nevertheless, a value for money place to just have a roof over your head for your trip/visit to Melbourne.

It was my first time traveling to Australia and I chose a serviced apartment. The greedy thing is that you can buy it at any time and go back to the apartment to cook food at any time! Although the entire area is not as large as expected, it is fully functional. There are dishwashers, cooking stoves, ovens, etc., and there is a small terrace outside. The scenery is looking towards the building, but you can sit down and relax. In addition, you can choose a single bed, the mattress is of moderate hardness, but the mattresses are relatively thin. If it were bigger, I think it could add more points. Finally, you need to go to the underground counter to collect supplies, so it feels inconvenient to have to remember what you need to collect all at once.
Elizabeth Hostel

I stayed in room 203 on the 7/04/2022 - 09/04/2022, the smell was unreal to the point I had to wear a mask, the floors are stained and dirty, but worse the bedding was not cleaned! It is not worth any money and I will never book again because I appreciate my health too much. If you don’t care about smell or your health book here… The toilets are vile with stains everywhere, nothing is modern and you can tell no money goes back into the upkeep of the building. Positives: The staff seemed friendly, which is upsetting as they live in that horrible place. The shower room was fine. You have to pay for internet in your room You pay for cutlery Pay to was/ dry clothing Who is this hostel food for? This hostel is good for junkies/ and homeless it is also good for someone who doesn’t care for their own mental health and physical hygiene!
