We booked this hotel as a base point for going to Babington House for Christmas party as a family due to one of our group having a brain problem. We booked this inn well in advance and never received any information apart from not to get there till 1500hrs. When we arrived we were meet by the manager who straight away took the full cost of the stay before then informing us that the restaurant was closed and we were unable to get food. After this devastation news we tried to find local eating places but were unable to find something open. We then contacted Babington House who understood our situation and let us book a table for 9 which came at a highly price cost to us. So on our return to the inn we all went to our rooms. What a disaster this turned out, one room never had any wardrobes , most rooms had TV but only 3 channels worked, we were informed an engineer was on his way to fix this problem, the engineer never came. Two of our group left the inn for an other location. The two nights we stayed there our rooms never tidied or beding changed only thing we received was new tea and coffee items. On our last morning we confronted the owner who was sorry but put it down to lack of staff, which was hardly our fault but this was her only response. Would we go back or give this place a rating, NO.
