Very nice place off the main roads, so very quiet. the rooms are a bit small, but good AC . you can also wash and hang clothes. lots of nearby restaurants, so food is not a problem. the music in the night from the nearby bars can be deafening at times.

Good place for the price, for sure, in a great location. The pool is nice. It's quiet. The bed was comfortable and the ai conditioning worked perfectly, as did everything eses in the room. The people working at this hotel are the nicest you'll meet. Just great! Thoughtful, helpful, kind, generous and always smiling. Thank you to all of you.

We stayed in Good Karma for few days and all the staff been so friendly and always helpful. If you are adventurous they have fantastic selection of tours (great value for money). This hostel is placed in a great location! Very tidy and quirky interior! Especially second floor room!!! Loved it! There are nice restaurants around. Vegetarian restaurant “via via” (my personal favourite) Another one is Milos. If you have enough time explore more! if you need some clothes there are some local designer shops with very nice things (clothes, bags, zero waste things and etc.) if you need a massage, there are a selection down the street. For nightlife there is so many places to dance, drink and listen life music! If this hostel is fully booked I highly recommend Happy Buddha hostel, Enjoy!

We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed. We would stay for 4 nights but we booked a 5th night the next day as a 5th night because the location is really top! A pleasant quiet place, away from the city busy but in the middle of the city. The staff was great, very helpful and would like to talk to you. The owner Peter we also spoke on the first day, born in the Netherlands (with Indonesian roots) and he is a nice, relaxed man who deals very nicely with his staff. We first explored the city by scooter, easy to rent from homestay. The staff give good tips on places you want to visit. We also got a super tour with Rendi, an Indonesian boy who has learned Dutch via YouTube. Guys, keep doing what you're doing now, you are truly amazing! The spot is perfect for any trip to Yogyakarta. We loved talking to you and staying with you, and we will spread the word for sure.

It was a very wholesome experience! The hotel's staff members were all very patient and helpful. They always went the extra mile to help me. The room I got was a bit old (and the hotel in general too?) but it was clean enough. It was near the KA Bandara and Malioboro — I took a Grabbike which only took less than 10 minutes and around 11,000 IDR to get to these two places. The wifi was good, did get significantly slower when I turned the TV on though. It had a nice quaint area around the pool where you can chill and look at the inner balconies and the sky, which I loved. Overall a good experience.

The hotel is brilliantly located and really nicely done out within. Breakfast was great and the reception staff were on hand to help with booking tours and taxis which was helpful. Only slight thing knocking it down was wifi wasn’t amazing in the room and the shower area was quite small next to the toilet which meant the shower curtain kept sticking to you. Also there is a light just outside the room which made it quite bright at night! Overall though, would recommend as a cost effective place to stay which still has a luxurious feel

The staff here were all lovely with 24hour service/check in. The room was gorgeous with Indonesian art, batik, and the high ceilinged cobblestone bathroom was awesome! Centre of a touristy district with western food places on the same street, but tucked away with a beautiful leafy courtyard with great privacy. Had to taxi to city centre but if you’re up for it the Beringharjo markets are a doable 40min walk. Free water was awesome and also always had tea and coffee available. Thank you!
