I stayed in Residence Inn Merida for a month in January 2024. I liked the location and services. It’s very close to the Galleria Mall, Costco and a large grocery store. You can take bus R72 to Central Merida which is very convenient if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive. The room is clean and equipped with full kitchen. The breakfast is included. The front desk staffs are also helpful. They helped us to arrange two private day trips to Maya sites and cenotes. The only thing I would recommend is to improve the quality and add more choices to the breakfast. Not many varieties of breakfast. The refrigerator is a little bit noisy at night.

We're in the hotel zone, across from the CIC. The US Consulate General and Paseo de Montejo are five minutes' walk, and downtown Merida is five kilometers away. Enjoy our Colonial architecture, and count on all-day dining, nighttime entertainment in our lobby bar, and 24-hour room service. We offer seven conference rooms, 24-hour fitness and business centers, a garden, and outdoor pool.

This Intercontinental is rather different from usual. The location is great but was unexpected that it will be just along the noisy street in an ancient building which before used to be another hotel. So it is rather old (in perception not in amenities). The rooms are specific but good and comfortable. We've checked the Hyatt which is right after the corner but that Hyatt is luxury and as everywhere. And this Intercontinental is special - you feel as if you are in colonial times. The hotel is narrow (in corridors). The open door pool is tiny. The breakfast selection is good but not so wide. So general impression is very good. The personnel is very friendly but not so much and good speaking English. So some time we needed in order to adopt ourselves to this experience but generally we are pretty much satisfied. We've stayed here for 8 night so can judge. :-).

A 286 room 5 star hotel, situated in the heart of the commercial and financial district and only 100 meters away from the romantic Paseo Montejo. Take a carriage ride to downtown (only 10 minutes) and enjoy the wonderful paintings by Pacheco in the Government Palace. The hotel opened in March of 1994.

This was my second time staying here. On this trip, I needed a very early check in and as a globalist, they made my room available super early which I appreciated after my red eye. Breakfast and the property are really nice. Lots of construction as they are redoing a large part of the hotel. Pool area is mediocre. Staff is great. Regular rooms are mediocre but the suites (which I stayed in on a previous trip) are amazing! Hotel location is decent depending what you want to do. Overall had a great stay.

Gamma is rated a 4 Star, it may be a 4 Star in Merida, but it would be a 2 Star in Cancun. I couldn't get a soda at 6 am because the kitchen is closed until 7. Food is served 7 to 10, 12 to 3 and 6 to 9 pm and there is nothing in between. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, on the 3 rd or 4th use, there was rusty water from the sink, I didn't ask, but I don't recall seeing an ice machine. If you like a soft bed this is the place, we were on the 7th floor with 2 queen beds and a view of the city, there was nothing spectacular about the room, but it was clean and comfortable with ample hot water for a nice shower. One of the dining room waiters told me I was drinking too fast when I ordered another round for my self and my Wife. We had been on a bus for 5 hours after being evacuated during Hurricane Delta last week. The Guys at the front entrance outside were friendly and very helpful in answering questions about local attractions and shopping. We were sent to this property by our hotel in Cancun during Hurricane Delta, per the local Governor, all alcohol was banned, not the hotels fault, but something to consider if you are traveling during this season.

We opted to get a room with two beds on the second floor, which was quite spacious and light. It was also away from the downstairs hub bub during breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom attractive with plenty of hot water (although as in other places we stayed, the water has to run a little while to get hot). I liked that there were lots of places to put things, and the room was a pleasant place to retreat to at the end of the day. There were several outdoor seating areas, which we took advantage of since I sleep a bit later than my husband, who jumps on his computer early. The location is quite good, within easy walking distance of the main square, Paseo del Montejo Avenue, and many restaurants. One in particular, just down the street called Urban Bistro is a find! We ate there twice in our three days in Merida. We had a couple issues with the breakfast - not getting our orders right, and not very good coffee. The staff are lovely and very helpful - several speak very good English, which was helpful.

GGrace Ridnour-NollschGorgeous boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The heir of the estate actually greets guests and ensures they have a pleasant stay. We only got to stay for one night, but they upgraded our room and allowed us to enjoy the pool as we arrived early and they needed time to get the room ready. It is worth the price.

NNikkilaoshiService was great we arrived almost 8pm. Be aware we did not stay at the address listed but there are 3 properties 2 mins walking to each other. We arrived at the address and there was a sign with a number to call or contact on WhatsApp. They answered quickly and came to get us and our luggage to checkin at the main building then led us to the other (3rd location). Our room room was small but clean. The pool in our building was the biggest but there was leaves inside looked unmaintained but not gross…fairly clean. There was a little “kitchen” with a fridge and microwave and coffee maker which looked like it hasn’t been used in a long time before getting to the pool…there were 2 sets of chairs at the pool. Now at the main building the complimentary continental breakfast was fruit, yogurt, granola, and coffee. The optional buffet was 190 pesos and WELL worth it many options and delicious. The main building pol was very cute and we loved the complimentary “steam bath” which is a steam room with shower heads…need to let them know 10 mins before to preheat it. They also helped arrange our excursion to cenotes which was cheaper than we saw elsewhere. We communicated thru WhatsApp no complaints I’d stay here again….we struggled with hot water often it was lukewarm but apparently that’s a thing in this area. It’s close enough to the popular area called “centro” about a 25 min walk and 10 mins to the US consulate

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre. The facilities are perfect, the catering service is also very good, and the other services of the hotel are also very good. The hotel has complete supplies and is easy to use. The overall sanitary conditions of the hotel are very good. I am quite satisfied with this. I still wanted to live for two more days, but the room was booked by someone else. I couldn’t continue to live and I had to change to another hotel.

ZZIXIANGThe facilities are new and sanitary. They are cleaned every day. The staff are super patient and very good. I went straight to check in at 8 o'clock that morning and didn't say anything. I gave full marks to this point. The location of the hotel is pretty good in Merida. It’s probably more convenient to drive next to the main street of the boulevard and not far from the bus station. I don’t know why Ctrip scores so low.

GGuest UserWell hotel, I think the place is good for the price, the service equal was good, although I think they could improve some things: 1. - The toilets had a lot of saroso and that gives a bad image, I think they could focus more on their cleaning, the bathrooms as well had saroso. 2. - I think they should mention guests since they check-in the hotel is small and therefore everything is heard very strong, I mention this why we had a disadvantage with a family that started crying at 5:40am and ended up until 7:00: 00am even if it is noticed to reception guests have noticed, I think they should be a little more careful with these situations.
