Based on previous reviews, we decided to stay here for 8 nights. We could have stayed even longer. The extended visit gave us time to really feel the history of the mansion. The staff were outstanding, very attentive and always helpful. The owner makes a personal visit daily and is very interested in sharing his knowledge. Scattered around the tables on the mezzanine are plenty of books, including two written by the owner himself about the family history connected to the mansion. The location is perfect, midway between Plaza Grande and Parque Santa Lucia, and right across from the Palacio de Musica.

We arrived by car from Cancún and pulled up on the street outside the hotel. A liveried attendant approached us and asked if we were Bernard & Clare - when we said yes he introduced a colleague to deal with the bags and another to valet park the rental car, while he escorted us into the hotel and offered welcome drinks - all free of charge. We stayed two nights and our visit continued in much the same way, the very friendly bilingual staff just couldn’t do enough for us! The MANSIÓN is located in the very center of the city surrounded by upmarket stores and great restaurants. The Mexican food offerings were truly superb especially the breakfast served in a beautifully shaded courtyard. The owner, Raul seems to be ever present ensuring guests receive the very highest standards of hospitality.

What an amazing hotel stay - from the moment I arrived I was treated like royalty by the staff and especially Raul the owner. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful property in the best location of Merida.

This is a MUST stay Mansion if visiting Merida Yucatan.
Great experiense from start to finish our stay, great food, great service, espectacular building condition and furtinture, all amenities and building options worked perfect… super clean and safe….this is by far the best experiense we have had visiting Mexico, thank you to all staff from all areas and levels.

Everything about Hotel Mansion Merida was stellar, from their attention to our room request, to the welcome drinks, to their assistance with our departure travel, just to name a few among a multitude of special gestures. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with exquisite service and delicious food. There would be no need to leave the hotel- except to see the sites and try some other good restaurants which are in walking distance. There are many fine touches here such as cookies at night and boxed lunches for early departures. We will be returning to this treasure! Thank you Raul and staff.
