OYO Posada Espinosa, Mérida, Parque de Santa Ana

👎🏼Negatives Came for two days to Merida with my girlfriend and this hotel was probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in (I am aware it is budget, but it's still worse than all the other budget ones we have stayed at). Bedroom and toilet are in the same room, there is no door to the toilet, you just walk around a wall to go, but the wall is so low that a male of average height can easily see over. THERE ARE NO CURTAINS OR BLINDS!!! This was ridiculous and meant we couldn't get any decent sleep past 6am - not fun when you're on holiday. There are also many insects in the room, which meant we woke up each morning with new bites. 👍🏼Positives There aren't many, but there is air-conditioning which works, it is quite cheap, the staff are satisfactory (although reception is often closed) and the location is good. These small redeeming qualities bring it to 2/5.
