Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel Reviews

The room is spacious, the mattress is moderately hard, the pillows are high, and the bedding is clean. The room is quiet, has blackout curtains, and sleep quality is good. The location is good, next to the highway, suitable for self-driving guests. Parking is free and there are ample parking spaces. The breakfast variety is acceptable, and the coffee area has a rich variety. The sink in the bathroom is oversized, making it easy to place items. There is a sink at the entrance for guests to use at the same time, which is a highlight. The coffee machine is high-end and fast, and the microwave oven is new. The only drawback is that the air conditioner is noisy and the wi-fi doesn't work at all.

Very good, the hotel is very new, very clean, the experience is very good, and the price/performance ratio is very high. The Korean barbecue nearby is also very good

Excellent well maintained property - friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast with real crockery and cutlery!! Good choice of breakfast with sustainable approach. Good to see! Comfortable bed and decent sized rooms for travellers with luggage. One of the best we have stayed in during our Canadian travels.

Pros: convenient, large rooms, EV chargers on site and pet friendly Cons: the listing on ******* is misleading as it appears that the entire hotel is pet-friendly when only a select number of the rooms are pet-friendly. And the pet-friendly rooms are only one queen bed. So if you book a different room, like a king, thinking they're all pet-friendly, you will be forced to switch rooms and there's no credit for the difference.

The room and bed was very comfortable and very welcoming to our pet which made for a pleasant experience

The included breakfast was really great with many options. The kitchen area could have been cleaner and it was difficult to find staff to refill the cutlery containers.

Cost $900+ for 2 slepless nights in both rooms as separate teams of kids ran the halls screaming & slamming doors both nights. And 2nd night drunk adults had altercation, yelling & scaring us half to death. The a man & woman were out in same hallway angrily shouting & scaring me. Also the closet was full of garbage in my daughter's room & the bathroom unclean with dirt & hair in tub. This was once my favorite hotel. Daughter wanted to go to more reasonably priced hotel but I persuaded her to this one. Now I regret it and feel badly. Sespite my request for a more fair adjustment the management would only credit me $50. Needless to say, I won't be returning nor recommending.

This BW is the best hotel in Merritt. It's clean, quiet and the staff is very friendly. The exterior, ie., balcony floor, is starting to look worn and a little shabby.

We had a fantastic stay and experienced an amazing high level of customer service. A family members sudden passing left us without a place to gather for coffee after the service. This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate a small group of us. Your hospitality surpassed any expectation we may have had. Our stay was very very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place while visiting Merritt.
