Alba Hotel Meru

This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are super-friendly and helpful. For examplr, we had to check out very early in the morning on our last day so the staff organised for breakfast to start 30 minutes early, just for us! My only slight complaint was that there is no gym (there is a lovely outdoor pool). I understand that the htel was recently refurbished and that there will eventually be a gym.

Great customer service from berlyl,Rachel and the best mixology Charles....we really enjoyed your dinner the food was great kudos to the chef the steak and the naan the coffee shake was just something else was to die for will definitely come back

Am so pleased with the good service offered by beryl, Charls,and Leonard chief..the Food was awesome, cocktails was on point i loved the balancing of spirit.and a vow to the fnb manager FRIDA...I really loved how she was so much concerning...she was on and off up and down to ensure we have the right drinks and food we had enquired..i really recommend this place...thanks you all Hoping to come back again..*****

As a first-time visitor to Meru Town, Alba Hotel Meru was high on my list, especially because I was intrigued by its history and connection to The Social House in Nairobi. Eager to secure accommodation, I was initially disappointed when luck didn't seem to be on my side. However, my spirits were lifted when I called the hotel and spoke to a very enthusiastic and helpful lady named Diana. She played a crucial role in ensuring I got a room, frequently checking in and assisting with the process. Diana's keen attentiveness, along with her colleague Amos, made my stay exceptional. The services they provided were impeccable. I would rate the food an 8.5/10—it was delicious and well-prepared, even if it didn't completely blow me away. Charles and Joshua from the bar were very helpful, making each cocktail experience better than the last. Other outstanding members of the restaurant team included Doreen, Adrian, and many others whose names I may not remember. The rooms were well-maintained, thanks to a commendable housekeeper named Isaac. He ensured my room was extremely neat, smelled great, and that all the bathroom amenities were replenished and in order. The house keeping also gives every room a hot water bottle in the most adorable cases which resemble bunny rabits. Overall, my experience at Alba Hotel Meru was great. One suggestion for the hotel would be to provide a guide for guests, highlighting the best activities to experience in Meru. Additionally, an engaging concierge could offer better insights into local attractions. The hotel organizes a wine tour and visits to the Meru Museum, which are excellent additions to the stay.

Gorgeous boutique hotel located in Milimani Meru. From the location to the grounds to the decor and the rooms, everything has been thought and are functional and aesthetic at the same time. The staff are also very friendly. The fitness centre is small but very functional. The pool too is great! The rooms are beautiful and size is OK. Honestly you'd struggle to fault this place. Only letdown is the breakfast which lacked variety but was still delicious! Would highly recommend for business, couple and family getaways (there's a small trampoline and pool for kids to enjoy)

My last visit 2 weeks ago I was very sick. The Alba team lead by their Manager Geoffrey took care of me and even followed up after check out to ensure I was well. Their wait staff Robert and Rita were also very empathetic and ensured my meals were taken care of. No place like ‘The Alba’ in Meru county. Service is all about empathy and they got it right.

Very very nicely done hotel with great ambiance and decor but the winner is the staff; A1 attitude and can-do guys, right from the reception to the service. Regrettably, I forgot the names of the reception guys but the barman Charles, was a very accommodating and pleasant host. Alba is definitely the hotel to stay in whilst in Meru.

Excellent customer service, impeccable international standards of a hotel. I enjoy my stay every time I visit Alba because the staff make you feel like family and the cleanliness is always at high standards. My number 1 place to stay in meru. Please keep it up!
