We recently spent 3 nights at the Nima Local House Hotel in the Roma Norte area in Mexico City. We were welcomed by a very hands on staff that made our stay most enjoyable. It is a small boutique hotel that was originally a house. Staying there felt like home and was on Colima which is a very happening street. The rooms are very nice, quiet and comfortable, though I would have liked a chair in my room. Every night hot fresh tea was waiting, breakfast included was delicious. The roof top was lovely too. A big shout out to Daniela GM, Lily and Teo and Flor for their great care and attentive service. We highly recommend this hotel!

Our Nina House stay was perfect! It is beautifully appointed, the coolest neighborhood on a beautiful tree lined street walking distance to many of the best restaurants. It reminds me of the west village in New York meets Paris European architecture. It is a house turned into boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the beds super comfy. You are totally taken care of and the staff go out of their way to help with any needs. The breakfast was wonderful. Truly made our bucket list trip the best it could be. We would absolutely stay there again. One of the best stays ever. Just a note, there is a lot of stairs and no elevator to get to the rooms. It was not an issue for us.

What an incredible find, this beautiful boutique hotel in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Mexico City. As it only has 4 rooms I booked it long in advance and it was more than worth it. The house is beautiful, decorated with great taste. Rooms are super comfortable and quiet. The service is out of this world - exceptional. Eye for every detail, there to help you with everything. Little notes and tea before bedtime, great breakfast, honesty bar. Beautiful terrace on top to relax. Spa is also lovely with great massages. Amazing experience and highly recommended! Thank you Nima House team!

Our one week stay here could not have been better. The attention to detail in this boutique property is extraordinary. The property is so charming and intimate but the service is exquisite. Staff incredibly helpful but also discreet so each day felt like coming home.

Even before we arrived, the hotel staff was helping us secure dinner and tour reservations. I have never been treated so well and kindly at any hotel property. The location was excellent and the hotel was exceptional. Special thanks to Daniela and Flor.

The Nima Staff truly creates a one of a kind experience for their guests. They are all very excited to share more about their country and culture! Not only do they assist you in finding a plethora of activities to do in Mexico, but they also create an extremely relaxing oasis at Nima. From breakfast, to relaxing on the terrace for music night, and providing a wonderful nightly turn down service with tea. If you are looking to spend time relaxing while exploring all of the wonders that Mexico has to offer, stay at Nima!

This review is an honor to write because I believe in the power of true hospitality, human kindness, and professionalism merged. But that merging often gets eclipsed in the hotel world due to poor management or stringent policies that de-humanize the staff. NOT AT NIMA! It truly felt like I was at the home of friends. That said...an elegant home, with brilliant friends! Never once in my entire stay, and I stayed a week due to an unexpected travel plot twist, did I feel anything other than supported, cared for, inspired, and all with white glove acumen. AND still with human kindness. Those two together are rare, and what makes NIMA so extraordinary. Yes, the hotel is gorgeous, in a stately old home with a gorgeous inner courtyard climbing up to a rooftop terrace. Yes, the breakfasts were exquisite. Yes, the rooms are full of beautiful art and lovely bedding, marble bathrooms, bedecked by crown moldings and high ceilings. Yes, the area is one of the best in CDMX with cafes and restaurants all along the tree-lined streets. But for me, it all came down to the staff. I was a bit worried about coming to such a massive city that I'd never been to before, and as a woman traveling alone. From the first booking phone call, Eduardo took an hour, helping me with my plans, answering my questions, addressing my concerns, making sure that all of my needs would be filled upon arrival. When he greeted me at the hotel, it was like coming home to a cherished local friend. And I can say that about all of the staff. Lorena and Flor's attention to detail, comfort, and local must-see sites were constant. Right down to special surprise treats on my bed at night and ideas for expeditions that they tailor-made to my interests. And Daniela's managerial touch was superb. What I love most about these professionals is their willingness to talk to you, and really make you feel cared for and supported, esp as a solo traveler. These are people who know what you need before you even need it, but also respect your space the way a good host should. I love this place for mostly this, but again, it's a gorgeous space and one which felt like an honor to call home for a week. When I get back to winter in the US mountains...I will dream of coffee on the rooftop terrace, garden surrounded by bougainvillea and the gentle trickle of the lovely fountain, the coo of mourning doves, yellow butterflies...and pretend I'm there. I didn't want to leave. Case in point: I extended my stay by five days! Thank you, NIMA house! I will be back!
