Fees like a compound for parking but the rooms are ample, the beds big and comfortable. A lack is a bathroom mat, wash and hand towels; the towels provided are thin but do the job.

This is a nifty reasonably priced hotel in the heart of the Santa Maria La Ribera neighborhood--just a hlaf block away from the Kiosko Morisco. My room was ready ahead of schedule so I was able to drop off suitcases early, a big plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking on the premises. The bathroom was very clean and the bedroom was ample with a view to the street. All in all, a surprisingly good find. I recommend it without hesitation.

Me gusta la vibra antigua que tiene este hotel, contrasta bastante con los alrededores

Very clean, inexpensive, a safe and secure place to stay, away from the tourist areas of Roma and Condessa. The hotel is in a great, family oriented neighborhood with friendly locals and a beautiful atmosphere at the nearby Kiosko. The one big downside is it can get noisy at night, due to the rooms all facing a central car park for hotel guests. I am guessing on weekends it tends to be noisier from any guests outside their rooms talking or having a drink, so I'd recommend bringing ear plugs. Rooms are very comfortable, plenty of hot water, wifi was fantastic. I stayed for 7 days here and would return.

I've stayed at this hotel repeatedly for more than the past 10 years. Situated in the residential neighborhood of historic Colonia Santa Maria la Ribera, the hotel is so very close to excellent restaurants, cafe's, a vibrant family-oriented park with an architecturally significant kiosk and adjacent palatial National Museum of Geology. The walk to the city's largest enclosed, multi-story shopping mall, the central library for the city, the MetroBus and the Metro are each less than a 10-minute walk. The nearby park, Alameda de Santa Maria, is a beehive of activity: neighbors jogging and exercising, walking dogs, afternoons filled with school children, evenings with neighbors exercising, practicing dance and music, sitting around talking and on the weekend 100 or more neighbors gather to dance to a DJ playing 40s-50s and 60s music ... all dressed in period clothing. It's easy to reach the "Centro Historico", "Colonia Roma" and "Zona Rosa" neighborhoods and major attractions the city has to offer. In addition to public transportation, it's not difficult to secure a taxi or Uber in this neighborhood. I've always reserved a room in either the Deluxe or Superior categories; predominantly Superior. The rooms in these two categories are spacious, King-size beds, large marble bathroom, vanity and shower, sufficient hot water, ample closet for clothes hanging and luggage storage, good wi-fi, television with cable (no English channels, though - and as of 5/23 no "adult" channels) and there's good ventilation via large windows. There's no air conditioning, and no heat - but the rooms seem always to have a breeze and keep reasonably warm in the winter (extra blankets are available if you are cold). Rooms are attentively cleaned and, as of 5/23 you will be asked if you want your room / linen / towels cleaned or changed daily, or less often. This is not a full-service hotel, and little if any English is spoken by staff; but you and they will find a way to communicate. There is no elevator and no bellman, so guests carry their own luggage - including to the 2nd and 3rd floors. No coffee shop or restaurant, though such services are mere steps from the front door of the hotel. A plus for guests arriving with vehicles: there is complementary, under roof, secure parking; a challenge to find at many hotels in the city. Clean, comfortable, safe but the hotel does lack the "frills" many international travelers are accustomed to. I've traveled extensively in Mexico and staying in this neighborhood always reminds me of being in a small town elsewhere, not in CDMX. I first came to this hotel because I wanted to get away from the well worn path so many international visitors follow - the trendy neighborhoods and hotels. After my first visit I haven't stayed elsewhere else.
