V65 offers spacious, design-forward accommodations with everything you need for a short stay in the wonderful Condesa neighborhood. There is a lovely rooftop terrace where a light breakfast is served each day from 8-10 am, with great views of the city and Castillo de Chapultepec. It's a quick 10-minute walk to Bosque de Chapultepec—well worth a visit. While everything in the home was top notch, the location of your room can be a real deal breaker. We stayed in 11, a 2-bed, 1-bath suite, with a living room, kitchen and dining room area on floor 1. The sun-filled principal room has a living area with desk, comfy seat and side table. But, we faced a busy boulevard, so faced the constant rush of cars 24 hours. The double-paned windows help but the minute you crack these open to get some fresh air or cool down the place, the noise is relentless. The interior room faces the courtyard, and on an entire Sunday, someone in the building next door blasted loud rock and banda music until 11 pm. The front desk could do nothing about it since these weren't guests. That said, the front desk staff (Oscar) were helpful and friendly, with a great attitude. Another weird quirk: You must be let in and out of the building by a security guard who's on call 24 hours a day. It felt like an inconvenience (for both partes), and at times it would take a few calls to actually get the door open. If you do book here and prefer peace and quiet, make sure that you request a room down the hall, as far away from the Cto. Bicentenario, and don't be surprised by loud nearby music.
