The Gates Hotel South Beach - a Doubletree by Hilton

South Beach
This hotel was very nice. However, there were no bright lights of any kind so at times, it was rather difficult to oversee things like makeup application, clothing imperfections, etc. Also, our room didnt have very many mirrors. The bathroom door slides open and closed but does not close all of the way. Everything else was sooo nice and beautiful! The location is perfect as it is close to every thing and easy to find for uber and lyft! The GSA Sofia was absolutely amazing!!! She was so helpful and accommodating!!!!
The Balfour Hotel Miami Beach

South Beach
Unexpected stay turned out great, when we landed in FLL around 1AM we arrived at our hotel we initially reserved and were told it was cancelled because of a clerical error. This was in the heart of spring break time so all these hotels were sold out. Balfour had a few rooms left which concerned us since usually the only rooms left during spring break are likely undesirable. We called and reserved/ubered over to the hotel. It is very boutiquish but extremely clean, modern and comfortable to say the least. The balfour saved us and allowed for some sleep before our cruise the next day. Would stay again for sure.
The Sagamore Hotel South Beach

South Beach
The Sagamore hotel has a good location in Miami Beach. The beach is equipped. The pool is very small and dirty. The pool bar is stocked and the staff courteous. The whole hotel needs a makeover. The rooms especially: old furniture. Curtains that do not block out the light. Tiny beds and uncomfortable mattresses. Incredibly noisy air conditioning, we couldn't sleep because of the noise.
Circa 39 Hotel

Mid-Beach
Loved the location, friendly staff and colorful retro vibe! Hector is an AMAZING bartender, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and drinks in the bar area. Cocktails were clever, bruschetta, bang bang cauliflower and shrimp ceviche were fresh and flavorful share plates. So glad the dining was so good, given that thunderstorms kept us in. Will be back!
