The location is great, right on Wash.st. and the street of shops and cafes Lincoln rd. Also close to the bustling Ocean dr. The hotel itself is very old and has undergone renovation, but it didn’t help much. Audibility is very good, the walls are thin both on the sides and between floors. Cleaning in the rooms is also very poor.

This hotel is well-located just a couple of blocks from the beach and in the middle of nightlife and good food choices. However, it is overpriced for the accommodations that it offers. This does not live up to even the Courtyard brand of Marriott hotels. There was no actual closet in the room, only a couple of shelves that had hangers. The bathroom did not have a counter; there was a chest of drawers inside instead that sat low to the ground. The towels looked as if they had been first used 15 years ago and housekeeping seemingly never came during the day so when we would get back to the room around 3-4pm, the bed was still undone. Note: the hotel charges a $29/day “destination fee.” No one actually explained how this worked at check in, but apparently: you may use this daily credit at the snack bar/cafe. But you may only use one per day and they do not accumulate.

I stayed 5 nights at this property while attending a meeting at the closeby Loews hotel. Booked a suite, but to my disappointment, the bedroom, bathroom, and living room were tiny and looked smaller than the adjacent regular rooms on the floor plan. The suite was on the top (5th) floor, so there was somewhat less street noise. Large and comfortable bed. Bathroom only with shower. Breakfast has to be ordered in the shop, relatively expensive, but you can use the 29$ destination fee, which barely covers the cost (for one). There is a nice rooftop pool with a glimpse of seaview. A nice asset is the complimentary bike rental for 2 hours a day. The bike quality is not great, but it will do the job. The hotel is somewhat overpriced, but I guess it is the case for all Miami Beach hotels in January. The location is perfect close to Lincoln Road and shops as well as 2 blocks from the beach. Overall, it is a relatively good property...

Good location for what we wanted but lacked on modern facilities and outlook of a brick wall was disappointing. Sofa bed was falling apart and mattress was disgusting. Quiet and other beds were comfortable and room was clean. Poor quality curtains and not light blocking. Guest laundry basic but adequate. Reception staff did not understand questions about basic local tourist things (trolley bus and transport). Would not consider it value for money.
