The Dorchester is a 'tired' property. However, the rooms (mini efficiencies) are very spacious. Lot of areas to move without feeling crowded like smaller hotel rooms. WARNING; there are no elevators to the wing where most guests are staying. So if you have heavy luggage then prepare to horse the suitcases if you're on the second (top) floor, Beds hard, lots of pillows. The bar and restaurant downstairs makes very good drinks. The restaurant food is farely good. Get there early enough to have their housemade empenadas. Worth it.

Negative. At check in I had a prepaid voucher. The receptionist was trying to get me to pay again for the full stay. She called the manger who sorted it. Not good after a 9 hour flight Positives. After reading the bad reviews I was dreading staying her but I’d stay again. Rooms are huge ok slightly dated but clean. Great location. Also we had use of M****illes Beach club. Free sun beds and umbrella on beach. Loved it! For anyone like myself who read the bad reviews ignore you’ll love it here.

Bad hospitality. Front desk does not know what they are doing. The valley person comes to help at the front desk on check in. Nobody really comes to help with luggage when requested. The hotel does not have an elevator that you can use to go to all floors. (I stayed in room 265) The WiFi signal is very bad. The room 265 looks very old and tacky.

Staff was ok, never too interested in helping out with any of the questions I had (where to eat, where could I go to work after check-out), hotel is beautiful but very poorly maintained.

Excelente hotel, el servicio es súper. La habitación cuenta con una cocina que tiene microondas , heladera y cafetera, por lo perfectamente te podes preparar tu propio desayuno, comprandote las cosas en un súper que hay cerca. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo. Desde el aeropuerto nos tomamos un tren que no tiene costo, pasa cada 5 minutos y tiene una sola parada. Nos bajamos y ahi nos tomamos el bus 150 que nos dejo en la puerta del hotel. El costo del bus es de U$S 2,25. A tres cuadras tenes un ROSS y a unas pocas cuadras más tenes un Marshall y Macys si te gusta hacer compras.
