From the moment you enter the National Hotel, you are greeted with warmth. This classy adult-only hotel and resort was nothing short of amazing. The pool is a major draw, but everything about this hotel pulls you in. Thank you to Katherine and her staff for a fabulous experience. I'll be back.

Hotel was great, and very well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is exceptional. Beach access was great. The hotels next door are a little loud at night, but it is South Beach. I would definitely stay again. The only advice I would give, is to ask the hotel if there are any events booked at th hotel that may effect your stay, such as pool hours, or access to pool areas.

A wonderful Art Deco hotel. When we go on cruises we usually stay here. The rooms are cozy from fairly budget to high-end suites. They have 2 great pools one is heated; one is not (the long pool is not) Access to the beach is right through a gate, but the hotel makes that unnecessary as their pool & lounging area is outstanding. Service by the staff is outstanding. They can store your luggage if you arrive early. Poolside food is really nice as are the drinks. The main restaurant (Marvela) is really quite nice, though there is a wide variety. We suggest going to Joy Ya (very pricey) Breakfast at the hotel is excellent & recommend as the prices & variety are excellent. Prices are standard for the area but can be steep for the suites (which is to be expected) Overall an excellent stay every time. They have done major restoration to this hotel, as this is now happening to a lot of the hotels. Many of the others are part of big chains so I feel the ambience is lacking. This is one reason we like the National.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time! We stayed at the balcony room facing the pool which was lovely. Quick access to the beach, and the hotel decor and cleanliness is very satisfactory!! We stayed from Friday to Saturday—the parties outside went on till very late, though.

We visited the National for a long weekend celebrating our 22-year-old's birthday. The service was outstanding at the pool and otherwise. The vibe is very chic and friendly. Randall and Jennyfer at the pool did a great job taking care of us. The food and drinks do not disappoint. Couple nitpicky things are that you have to pay for an umbrella at the beach which doesn't seem right and the bed sheets were not as soft as we were hoping. I don't think they can do anything about how warm the pools are. They are very relaxing but too hot to be refreshing. The location is fantastic. We are able to walk to many restaurants and destinations as well as rent bikes to get around. We will be back!
