Roami at 250 Collins

My family and I checked into unit 109 at 250 Collins, to discover the photos online did not represent what we witnessed. Here is what we discovered: -the primary bedroom ceiling and walls had black mold -the second bathroom had black mold around the shower faucet -dirty and moldy bathroom shower floors and walls -the living room and dining area floors were dirty -the couch was dirty, stained and had crumbs all over it -the light switch in the primary bedroom was dirty In addition: -the floors were badly scraped up and stained -the paint on ceilings in the primary bedroom and bathroom was either chipped, stained or bubbled. -chipped baseboards -poorly patched walls The good news we were able to contact customer service who was very helpful and the next day we were given a full refund.

Fantastic property, apartments are spacious and very clean. Appreciated the good communication, easy check-in, stocked kitchens, and washer/dryer. Best property in South Beach!

Excellent value for money and quality. We got much more from this apartment than we expected. Excellent location (ocean, grocery store, restaurants, public transport, parking) everything you need is within walking distance. Very spacious, bright, cozy apartment, fully equipped kitchen, excellent soundproofing...) On the top floor of this house there is an outdoor pool and a pleasant relaxation area. There were small negative nuances, but they were so insignificant that they did not spoil the good impression of staying in this apartment. I confidently recommend this place for a vacation with family and friends.

The property is set in a great location. Everything fun is nearby walking distance. The unit had a washer/dryer, kitchen, everything I needed for my long term stay. The staff was great, helpful and attentive. I look forward to coming back and staying there.

Do NOT stay here. The place was disgusting. Black mold growing on bedroom wall and we had to leave. Can’t believe VRBO would deal with a corporation, Roami, that was so shady. The furniture was cheap and dirty. Terrible customer service. We were not sent an entry code ahead of time. It did not have a coffee machine and not enough glasses for the 4 of us. They kept saying they would send someone which they never did… plus how could they get rid of black mold? My husband is still suffering from an asthma attack due to staying there one night until we could find other accommodations. I cannot stress enough how horrible this place was.

Perfect location very close to the beach and shops. The apartment is very well equipped but old and needs a refurnishing. Staff was great

Poor Poor Poor. Stay Away from this place! outdated. Poorly maintained. It will ruin your miami experience. Not recommended!

Be careful what you pay for! This is a one or two star place at Best. VRBO allowed them to be listed on their site which they should not have. Major corporation, not individually owned.Honestly more upset with VRBO than Roami for our low quality accommodations. Water leaking from the roof soaked our gear and caused a fall on the stairs for my 13 year old son. He hit is tailbone so hard it broke the tile on the stairs. Roami at least made right and refunded our stay so we could get a new place but we had to change locations several times on our trip to South Beach when we had planned on staying at one location for the duration of our trip. Our room was dirty, people walked in on us whole sleeping and no on-site staff to work with. VRBO was a nightmare to navigate and cost my family hours of our hard earned vacation time trying to get a refund. Even after getting back from our stay we still had to call and negotiate their refund policy. Will definitely be using VRBO'S competitors in the future.
