We stayed here for one night in April 2024. The hotel is stylish and relatively close to the airport. The bar is good and there are a few good restaurants in the immediate area (including connected to the hotel). There is a pool and a gym as well.

This place is an oasis! The Vagabond has a retro vibe, but the decor and rooms are very modern and comfortable. What makes this place a destination is the bar and beautiful restored pool with its mermaid mosaic. It is relaxing because the pool is set back off the street, so you really feel like you are in a resort. The bar was fun, and the music was upbeat and created a happy atmosphere. Inside the rooms it was surprisingly quiet, we could barely hear the music from inside. There are fun places nearby, we found some cool vintage clothing shops and a great breakfast and coffee place, We We's Bakery, across the street. Down a few blocks we had some very good dinners too. Great place, can't wait to come back.

Door to room was milky glass and the outside light poured into room. It was horrible I could not sleep at all. Too tired to ask to change and yet not tired enough to sleep in the bright light.

Cute retro motel off the beaten path. Clean and small. Nice places to eat in the area that are within walking distance. Good vibe all around. A place I would visit again. Juan was very helpful and great conversationalist. Outdoor bar near pool proved great service.

This was our first time staying at the Vagabond and we really enjoyed our experience. The bed was very comfortable, the shower large and the pool bar is a great amenity. Parking was included and there is not resort fee. We enjoyed some appetizers from Mr. Mandolin right next store. While not affiliated, We We’s bakery across the street was also a great find. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and downtown was a short drive. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great little place you MUST eat at the taco joint down the street. I just remember 66 was in the name of the restaurant. We at dinner at the Greek place next door and loved the food!

Un motel historique extraordinaire. Situé dans le "Mimo District", l'hôtel est d'un style art déco typique des années 50 dans les couleurs pastels de Miami. Les chambres sont très grandes et rénovées dans le style des années 50, magnifique. La literie est très confortable et les lits sont très grands. La propreté des chambres et de l'hôtel en général est parfaite, les chambres sont nettoyées tous les jours, les serviettes changées tous les jours et les petits échantillons de gel douche, shampoing.... sont rajoutés à chaque fois. Malgré que l'hôtel soit située sur une avenue assez bien fréquentée, les chambres et l'hôtel en général sont très calmes. Une très jolie piscine entourée d'un jardin aux plantes exotiques et un pool bar très sympathique style art déco agrémentent ce motel. L'hôte d'accueil est très sympathique. Un gros plus de ce motel est la disponibilité d'un parking gratuit et si vous n'avez pas de véhicule, il est bien desservi en transport en commun (bus). Bien que le motel ne propose pas de petit-déjeuner, il propose tout de même café et thé gratuitement toute la journée, et de nombreux restaurants très proches proposent des petit-déjeuner gargantuesques. Vous pourrez également facilement trouver un restaurant pour souper le soir. En bref, ce motel est exceptionnel et j'y reviendrai sans hésiter.

Comfortable beds, very quiet for sleeping, clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and Juan, at the front desk, even gave me a jump-start when I found my battery was dead on the morning of my cruise departure. Bonus is an Italian restaurant right next door, and the excellent Caracas Coffee Emporium in the next block. Highly recommend!
