Scam!!!! Stole my money!! I am so annoyed and frustrated , they took full rate for room 2 nights and now are non contactable , avoid at all costs - majorly distressed about this- trip advisor should take down

I had to select a date that I went, but my reservation was cancelled, I can't go! In May I booked through *******, 2 nights Oct 3-5. I chose " pay at resort". ******* GAVE THE RESORT MY CARD INFO, and immediately there was a FULL, 2 DAY CHARGE on my card from The Guild. Then they claimed bankruptcy! ******* sent an email stating that The Guild can't afford to refund me, I have called and chatted a dozen times. And ******* posted it as a zero deposit reservation in my reservation. pic #1 is the letter from ******* about cancelling me..#2 is what happens when you text or call *******. #3 Is ******* pretending that they didn't take a charge., and only shows 1 night when its 2, ...(they gave my info to The Guild who took 2 nights from my credit card, $384, I didn't post my card statement), #4 the most recent reviews. When I booked in May, everything was 5 star. B of American has been trying to get my money back but they have disconnected their #.

Worst of the worst, a total scam. Worst experience ever. Criminal comes to mind, and whomever did this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Not only did they steal our money, they continued to send emails as if nothing happened. Total scam, I will avoid them and anyone/anything ever associated with them. We never had the opportunity to do anything other than get ripped off.

SCAM !!! Took our full deposit of $550 for 1 night back in March when we made the reservation !! Only to find out yesterday 9.2.23, tha my they went out of business with no notice to us and NO REFUNDS. TRIP ADVISOR should take this place down from their Website.

Hotel filed bankruptcy and took my money. Booked a room and key didn’t work to access apartment and there was not anyone from customer service to assist. I called the number listed and emailed several times before the concierge told me that no one works for the hotel as they filed bankruptcy.

Concierge is not always there making it extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone at certain times. Our room had no hand soap and the soap & shampoo containers in the shower were bone dry. The pullout couch didn’t work and there wasn’t any extra bedding for it anyways. Instead of the kids sleeping on the pullout I slept on the couch. Thankfully we were there for only 1 night. Pool area was very nice though

The Guild Downtown Miami, not recommended, type of scam, since they do not comply with what was contracted and they do not respond to your comments or requirements during the period of your stay, that is, they do not care about your bad experience and problems in their apartment. Department without enough glasses for people, only 3 (a family of 5 members). Without enough sheets, only for 4. Bathrooms without soap or shampoo, I told them this, but they never solved it/refilled the containers. The penultimate one we decided to cook and there were no pots, only one frying pan in the entire apartment, a scam. The only part where you can eat must be done with stagnant water from the dishwasher, with a bad smell and appearance, they should not have been maintained for months, as seen in the photo, the water goes down an hour later, very bad. The city view they sold was a view on the 7th floor of a wall from another building! A window in the room cannot be closed, with the heat and noise coming in, very bad. If you want to have a hard time book here otherwise look for a place that does what you contract for and they care about the service. The Guild Downtown Miami, not here.

Do not book there. They are sending out emails and stealing people's deposits. This should not be advertised on any sites and the contact number on the site is disconnected. Again, do not book here.

I also received that email yesterday. Was very disappointed and angry especially the sentence indicating they have insufficient funds to refund the deposit. I made reservations in February for 2 of the 3 bedroom units and had to pay immediately $2100. We are going on a family cruise leaving Aug 21 and we were very excited at idea of all 6 families being able to be together so close to the pier. After trying to get in touch with them and *********** to no avail, I contacted credit card server (BofA) to start a dispute. I was advised to forward email to them indicating they would not be providing services as promised. I returned to original confirmation indicating free cancellation before arrival date so I canceled with *********** as they allegedly are still in business for next several days. I spent all day yesterday trying to secure rooms for group but now need to spread out. I pray I will get my money back expeditiously as I now have to re pay for rooms. Please advise if anybody else is dealing with these crooks and how you are handling it. Trying real hard to stay hopeful and plans to enjoy cruise with family
