Private Oasis at Arya

Location is perfect, however, this time the kitchen was very lousy. A minibar instead of a friedge, no other appliances, old cabiners , just a few kitchen utensils. It is my 4th time there, usually it is a full kitchen. Very nice. This time kitchen was an issue, as I like to cook my meals instead of eating outside.

Pictures of room had big windows.. but room had smallest window (one only) I have ever seen. Staff was matter of fact, no extra service, no how was everything, no nothing. Major construction, no parking, poor room experience, very slippery tub… just a poor value for the money. Great area with restaurants around but would have rather slept in my car.

I’ve stayed at the Arya Hotel a handful of times, and it’s been terrific every time…but these “private oasis” at Arya missed the mark in every sense. The room was somehow more expensive than the regular rooms and tiny and outdated with old dingy carpet, underwhelming bathroom, and a balcony fitting for nothing more than to say that it has a “view”. Terrific property; horrible room.

Everything was great except one thing. The pool and hot tub hours are absolutely ridiculous. 10am to 6pm.
