The Grand Astoria Hotel

After driving through traffic for almost 4 hours, when we arrived an older man with a mobile phone told us we did not in fact have a booking, that the hotel did not in fact exist as a hotel - even though all signage was still up. The man asked me to speak with head office on his phone who confirmed no booking, regardless of my e-mail confirmations. We were not the only people affected by this, luckily for us we found alternative accommodation at a higher rate as we were attending the Take That concert locally. Absolutely disgusted with lack of communication & now to be asked for a review? Even ******* it seems are unaware that this accommodation does not exists and still advertises it. Please *******, remove from your searches.
