Hotel Club Es Talaial

We stayed here from 9-18th October. We had a brilliant family holiday with our three children aged 7, 5 & 3yrs. The entertainment team were brilliant. Staff throughout the hotel worked extremely hard and were all very approachable. They always made the kids smile especially the staff in the restaurant. The food was plentiful, something for everyone, none of us ever felt hungry as there was always a variety of choice. The snack bar at the pool area was a great hit with the kids, as well as the ice cream and slushies. We spent a lot of time at the splash pool area, so much so that the kids didn't want to leave the hotel to see more of Cala Dor! They were so entertained from morning until night that they didn't want to go anywhere else, and that's really saying something. Our room was a 2 bed apartment, which was clean, tidy, spacious, and the air con worked well. We were on the first floor and had large balconies at both sides. The cleaners came 9 days out of 10 and we always had fresh towels. There is a beautiful small beach right across the road which we also loved. We will definitely return next year. An excellent value family holiday in which we made amazing memories to last a lifetime!

This is one of the best places we have stayed in. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure you feel the genuine warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff. Everyone is helpful. Location of the hotel is on the outskirts of the town, where you can find peace and quiet. Palma is a 25 min drive away. We have stayed in a terrace room which we liked alot. The indoor pool for our little one was perfect. We had a room with breakfast arrangement. Breakfast is simply delicious as the lunch we had. We had a joyful vacation !
Inturotel Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Great value hotel, including breakfast and dinner, are buffet, very delicious! The room was very clean, I chose a room facing the sea, I woke up every day in the beautiful scenery of the sunrise on the sea, and I was in a good mood all day. The hotel has its own four swimming pools, one of which is on the shore rock, and it is especially convenient to swim in the sea and rest on the shore. In the evening, the hotel also has a bar singing, and the atmosphere is very good. And this hotel has 16 years old and above to live, so all leisure areas are very quiet, no children are noisy. In addition, we went at the end of October, it was already the end of the tourist season, so there were not many people and it was not crowded anywhere.
Cap Rocat, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

A glorious location and historic building. The private beach alone is a material justification for this splurge as so many of the local beaches are overcrowded with and require a claustrophobic and stressful drive to reach followed by uncertainty of parking and a highly diverse group of bathers making it hard to even walk to the water. Ancient castle walls. Exceptional restaurant. Wonderful sea and sunset views. Though the range of cost is extreme. In September rates were as high as $4100 but then dropped below $1000 in the second half of October and to a low point of $688. Choose your dates carefully.
Sentido Fido Tucan - Beach Hotel

Stepping in through the entrance I thought I had entered a spa ,tranquil , contemporary reception which smelt amazing .reception efficiently processed the necessary paperwork whilst we sipped a welcoming drink ,phew just breathe. No need to pay extra for towels or use of safe this is included. The Tucan is ideally situated a few steps from shops and beautiful beach Cala gran . We stayed in a third floor room with a side sea view. A bottle of water was in the small fridge which we used to keep our own drinks in . Tv had good reception with English channels wi fi was reliable . The bed was large and comfortable and I slept really well .air con seemed to work really well although in October not as hot as summer months. Bathroom waterfall shower was really lovely ,hairdryer was powerful and quick to dry my hair.room kept spotless by the team of maids that worked tirelessly to keep everywhere gleaming. Food was delicious ,breakfast amazing variety of hot and cold food.lunch at the snack bar was restaurant quality absolutely spot on. Dinner was varied and a different theme available each night , a huge choice and the desserts were absolutely delicious , best I have had at an a.I. Hotel. The pool area is clean and has multiple sun bed s, Bali beds never overcrowded a nice atmosphere with the animator friendly and inclusive but not over zealous.the small gym and spa were clean and the jacuzzi relaxing. Evening entertainment was easy going usually a vocalist and it everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, helped no doubt by the unwavering efforts of the bar staff who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s glass was never empty for more than a moment .remembering what you you like to drink and delivered with a smile despite being so busy. All the staff at the hotel are so engaging and helpful and make you feel so welcome they are what makes the Tucan fly above other hotels I have stayed at .if you stay you will want to return again and again ……
Hotel Torre Azul & Spa - Adults Only
3.8/564 Reviews
My honest experience with hotel Torre Azul. To start with some of the upsides, upon arrival the hotel was right next to the bus stop (that's one of the only area benefits). The staff are really nice, I think this was the best thing about being there (best and only good thing), most members of staff were nice, the young ones especially, the older ones were a bit less friendly, but they were ok. The hotel appears ok from the outside (quite fancy) but it lets you down past the door. It's extremely dark and gloomy, it has a hospital vibe to it and even outside at the back where the pool was, it's very dark (keeps the water too cool + defeats the purpose of having a pool area - to be in the sun! I ended up never using the pool for this very reason - money wasted as they charge more because they have a pool). I was given a room in what I presume was the least developed, ugliest floor of all with no recent renovation. The room was smaller than expected, had very old furniture and extremely uncomfortable beds (two single beds but one was taller than the other so I couldn't use them as a bigger bed). Every door on this floor creaks, but very loudly too which is only further amplified by the flooring and lack of decorum (again, very hospital like - tiles all over the floor?!). This aspect in particular was horrendous - everything was so loud every step, every word, everything. I had read some reviews regarding the walls being thin and how you'd be able to hear everything from your neighbors' and I thought that was a joke - it was very true. I couldn't sleep either of the two nights I was there (I left earlier by a day because that place was so bad it drove me insane and the lack of sleep ruined my day each time). People were having fights and loud arguments, some hotel stayers would make noise until 3AM and no staff or security would show up to calm things down - very weird. It's been very long since I stayed in a hotel and felt this unsafe. All doors/furniture were really old. The door gave me the impression that it was open all the time, the balcony door didn't seal properly so you'd always hear the wind/noises. It's really not sound proof it ruined the whole stay. The beds are very uncomfortable and you're expected to cover yourself with a bed sheet.. I've seen this bedding at hotels before but never this thin. Combine this with air coming through that balcony door + being awake at night because of slipper noises and banging on the hallway = dream vacation I guess. The balcony view was also just some people's homes and the back of the hotel which had some trash around. They charge specifically for balcony too, as if you get the sea view (no side of the hotel has sea view because they're far from the sea). Another thing they charge for is location. Now, there are shops around which is fine, but it's nowhere near the beach! You walk a good 15mins there. I can't believe I did not choose hotels next to the beach for 30£ more thinking I'd save and stil
