The room was not available at the time of check-in. Although at the reception they treated us very well. The room was poorly cleaned, hair on the floors and so on. The place appeared to be lacking in maintenance. Otherwise the facilities are very good, swimming pool and gym excellent.

Gary of reception great guy,our room was terrible,bathroom door didnt close because of water damage,whole in roof bathroom ,beds short plus had a bloodstain on sheets ,walls not finished painting,minibar leakes water and chairs fabric was peeling

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. So disappointed with many aspects :- no air conditioning until May, handles on balcony doors held on by one screw so very loose and ineffective, dirty bathroom floor, shower fitment very loose and came away from the wall, room not cleaned on one day , pool closed, surly and unhelpful staff ( except for Alex on reception) outside food menu mostly unavailable , no complimentary water in room . You would not expect any of the above in a 4* hotel anywhere in the world. Wonderful location with views towards Mijas and the coast - it has massive potential to be a fantastic place to stay - such a shame .

Overall the hotel was lovely. Great staff.
Buffet lunch started at 1:30, we arrived at 2:30 and a lot of the food looked old and dry. The room was spacious with lots of storage, but it was rather dark. The bed was reasonably comfortable and had extra pillows. We had two issues with the room. One was that the bed was on wheels that did not lock. So, if one tried to sit up in bed, for example to watch tv or read, and leaned against the headboard, the bed would roll away from the wall, causing pillows and person to get stuck in the gap. The other issue was an enormous amount of mosquitoes in the room at night. We had to sleep with the sheets over our heads because they were buzzing and biting incessantly. The staff acknowledged that there are lot of mosquitoes and said there was nothing they could do as we are in the countryside.
Otherwise, the room, bathroom, shower were very nice. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The public areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. Despite the minor issues, would certainly recommend this hotel for future stay, but would bring mosquito repellent.

Péssima experiência. Desde terem dado cartão para entrar no quarto quando a entrada era com chave, terem dado chaves de quartos que estavam ocupados, quando tive quarto fui tomar um banho e o quarto ficou inundado. Quartos sem sabonete ou shampoo. Último quarto muito sujo e cheio de mosquitos. Nunca mais.

Excelente atención del personal de recepción, cafetería, comedor, limpieza de habitación, todos muy profesionales. Las habitaciones son confortables y silenciosas. La calidad y cantidad del buffet es muy buena. Mucha limpieza en todas las instalaciones. La cama muy confortable.

We had a lovely short 3-day break here, with a really spacious room, large comfy bed, the food was delicious, especially the breakfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. We were recommended to visit the Biopark (zoo) in Fuengirola, which was a great hilight of our stay. We didn't get to visit Mijas, but Fuengirola is a great city with great cafes and stunning beach.
