Ilunion Hacienda de Mijas
"The room was not available at the time of check-in. Although at the reception they treated us very well. The room was poorly cleaned, hair on the floors and so on. The place appeared to be lacking in maintenance. Otherwise the facilities are very good, swimming pool and gym excellent."
La Zambra Resort Mijas - Marbella - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
"The hotel offers free activities daily; we experienced gin tasting and yoga at 9:00 AM. There weren't many Chinese tourists, mostly foreigners on vacation. The golf course area has beautiful scenery and a charming, light green estate style. If you stay in a suite, you can enjoy the spa's massage pool and sauna/steam room. I saw on the website that a standard room costs €30 per person. Parking is free; most European hotels charge extra for parking, but this one doesn't."
TRH Mijas
"The room was great, and it even had a balcony. Standing on the balcony and looking out into the distance, you could see the Mediterranean Sea – it was beautiful."
Opuntia Hotel Boutique
"Self-check-in, enough water pipes, very good!"
Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol
"Almost everything was great except for the handling of the pool towels and especially the fact that we paid €30 for a late check-out (12:00) since we were leaving on a trip on Sunday and wanted to go to bed late to be well-rested. At 10:00, a cleaning lady woke us up, even though she hadn't been instructed to do so. When I called reception, they said they had no record of me having booked that service until I told them I would show them the charge when I returned the keys. At that point, they admitted they had just seen it and apologized, refunding the €30. However, what they didn't refund was the rest they took away from me and the exhausting journey I had to make."
Los Amigos Beach Club
"The room is large, with a living room and a bedroom. It is a very good choice as a halfway point during a trip to Spain, where you can do laundry and cook. It is suitable for a family. The swimming pool is very good, but the hotel has a band playing until 10 o'clock in the evening. If you are an older family and want to go to bed early, it may be a bit noisy, but for us, listening to light music is very comfortable. Recommended for self-driving tours, you can park for free. Check-out is required at 10 a.m., and extra time will cost you 10 euros. So remember to check out on time. "

Hotel Carmen
"Just home from our 11th stay at this fantastic hotel in the last 10 years so needless to say it ticks all our boxes. First and foremost all of the staff are brilliant with nothing too much trouble and they really make it such a friendly hotel. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and every thing you would want is within a five minute walk including the beach. We have of course already booked for 2025 :)"
Apartment on the Beachfront
SkySea Holidays MI Capricho
"Workmen cutting tiles and mixing cement etc 15.00hrs into the early evening. Dust from this work was coming through the wire fence and covering all our outdoor furniture and towels. And Wasn't able to eat our afternoon tea on the patio area. I was told that the apartment and furniture would be cleaned the next day but this didn't happen. Damaged sun loungers and plastic decking damaged due to chair legs. Only Seaview when you look to the left. no sun loungers at the top pool or 3euros each per day at the lower pool. not good for persons with disability's as plenty of steps and slopes down to the lower pool or beach. Bad attitude of the workers when we asked them why they was doing this kind of work at theses times. There answer was if you want to relax you should have booked into a hotel. PLEASE be aware when booking. Owners can have maintenance work taking place unto 7/8 pm in the evening and are not required to notify other residents or clientele"

La Perla de Torrenueva
"Sorry it’s not a happy post! I Had booked a chalet on booking dot com for La Perla de Torrenueva starting this weekend. Received confirmation and my credit card was charged. 2 days after booking and with no consultation I was informed they (the property) had moved my booking dates to July!!! (Not even in Spain on those dates) I called the property manager (Frank?) who basically said somebody now wanted to extend their holiday so I’d have to find another booking. He didn’t offer to help or apologize he just said there are plenty of places to book on the costa del sol. Booking dot com have found me a new booking. But now I have to wait 2 weeks to receive my refund. I understand overbookings sometimes occur but the level of customer service was very poor and badly handled. I hope others have not had similar experiences at this accommodation."
Campos de Mar
"The Fewo is located in a facility with very many accommodations. It was still very quiet and we had a wonderful look at a forested shelter up to the sea. Since the next shopping facilities or restaurants are about 3-4 km away, it is e"
Hotel Villarocamar
"If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the mountains of Spain, this charming bed and breakfast is everything you could hope for and more. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by Alain, the sweetest and most generous host you’ll ever meet. He is genuinely devoted to making every guest feel cared for. His kindness, warmth, and deep knowledge of the area make every conversation a delight, and his recommendations are always spot on. The setting is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the mountains. Each room is impressively spacious, with a large bathroom and its own private patio, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are incredibly affordable. It’s true value for money, with great hospitality. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or in a small group, this place offers peace, comfort, and a wonderful sense of safety. As a female traveler, I felt completely at ease during my entire stay. Thank you to Alain, for opening his bed and breakfast and heart to travelers."
Hearts & Home
"A big compliment to Marian and her husband Juan for their wonderful hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make all guests feel welcome and comfortable, and their warm presence made a big difference during our stay. The breakfast was fresh, tasteful, and nicely varied every morning. The rooms were spacious enough and charmingly decorated, and the views together with the beautiful living room created a very relaxing atmosphere. At the same time, we personally felt that the price-quality balance was somewhat high for what was offered. For example, the wardrobe space in the room was quite limited. Due to the heavy rainfall in southern Spain this winter, there was also a noticeable musty smell in the rooms. Unfortunately, the strong scented products and fragrance sachets used to mask the smell caused us headaches at times.. The terrace area felt somewhat limited in comfort. The sunbeds are placed quite close together, and because the terrace slopes downward, it was difficult to fully relax while lying on the beds. During the summer season, this may be a bit of a challenge in case the property is full booked. One important point for us was the difficult access to the property by car. The very sharp turn to enter the driveway was quite challenging, and we were relieved that our car made it through without damage. That said, we truly appreciate the care and kindness of Juan and Marian and would like to thank them again for making us feel so welcome."
