Scandic Mikkeli

Decent breakfast, saunas were fine but showers in the room were a bit nasty with dark spots on the wall

Very well located, so it's a very short walk to Mikkeli's attractions. Room in reasonable condition. Nice balcony! Pool!! Breakfast at Scandic standard. Friendly service.

I had to change room twice. First two rooms had abnormal smell and tv didn't work. In third room the ventilation and temperature panelwas broken. I had to ventilate through window. At 4 am. snow plough's came ramming and banging under my window. Hotel has been there as long as I remember. It was previously Cumulus hotel and changed to Scandic hotel a few years ago. There has been no repairs or restorations of any kind. I don't recommend.

Couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the street. A car was parked in front of the hotel and played very loud music in the night. The hotel staff didn’t understand to do anything even though this was at midnight! Enjoyed the sauna and a pit outdated very cool pool. Breakfast was good.

Hotell look like old school Cumulus back in the day. Service was nice and room itself was quite average with good bed and facilities.

Nice, restful hotel in the centre of Mikkeli. Good breakfast. Nearby two excellent restaurants: Bistro Holvi and Gastropub Eino. Considering musicfestival (next year) location fine.

This hotel needs updating!!! Reception ok. Wondering why first promised to see if early check in available and hsppuly possible but then changed mind that only if you pay 20eur. check-inn very late at 4pm. Room has a hide where we found empty alcohol bottles. Water dripping in the radiator and needs maintenance. Breakfast was ab6ndant and all in all people/service friendly. Location for us was perfekti in the center of toinen.

As Scandic doesn’t accept reclamations due email it’s easier to do it here. Overall the hotel was at max an average. The bar service was extremely poor. The room was without air conditioning and steaming hot. We had couple tabletop ventilators, but they just circled out the hot air. Needless to say, it was horrible to sleep. At morning we tried to go for a sauna and swim in the pool, which both were promised to be open at morning. Only to discover that the receptionist failed to inform that sauna was cold and the pool also. 5/10 experience.

We had a room at floor 2. It felt like a dungeon with only a tiny window to the car patk. The room had dust all over, floor was full of scratches and roof had massive yellow stains on it. Cannot recommend. Breakfast and hotel otherwise ok.
