Decent breakfast, saunas were fine but showers in the room were a bit nasty with dark spots on the wall

One night in Scandic Mikkeli. Hotel is quite old but pretty well maintained so don't wait any fancy decoration. But at least room was clean. Free parking is always nice. Parking lot is in top of mall so in winter time you might need to do some snow work but in summer there should be no problems. Breakfast was pretty good. Quite standard older Scandic hotels level I would say. You will get your belly full with the standard dishes without any extra glamour.

Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla. Mikkelissä on vähän ravintolatarjontaa ainakin alkuviikolla, mutta hotellin ravintola oli miellyttävä yllätys sekä ruoan että juoman puolesta. Itse hotelli kaipaisi jo remontointia. Kahden hengen huone oli
kyllä tehty yhden hengen huoneesta. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja myös vegaanit huomioitu.
Rauhallinen paikka, toki kadun puolelta kuuluu liikenteen ääniä, mutta eipä niitä kauheasti ollut.

Aamiainen sekä palvelu erinomainen. Ilmastointi huoneessa hyvä, mutta ulkopuolinen meteli häiritsi, sekä sauna remontti ei kyllä ollut näkyvää, oliko siellä tehty mitään. Mutta sianti on hyvä kyläpaikkan ei ollut pitkä matka...

Hotel is old and should be renovated but however, staff is very nice, restaurant food good (breakfast even better), rooms and areas are clean so not much to complain. I would give 3,8 stars if it would be possible. (Why on earth it have to be 200 characters?)

Hotel has mold. It was in bathroom, in sauna and in the pool. The smell of mold was also in the conference room. Air conditioning was bad and it was very loud. Hotel is stuck in the 90’s. Personal was good. Food was good. Not so good experiense. And I think I got bitten.
