The location is far from everything, not allowed to turn on the AC in mid April! was suggested to open the windows when assigned a room at 1st floor...lots of mosquitos came in at night....

The hotel was good, breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, the location is less than fantastic. It is within walking distance to the CaGranda Metro station but the surroundings are residential suburbs. If you're looking for a lively area, this hotel might not be for you. If not, then it is quite good.

Novotel Milano Nord Ca Granda is a nice hotel located about 20 minutes far from Milano Duomo (using metro or tram). The staff is extremely friendly. The hair dryer did not work in our room, so we got a replacement in a few minutes. The room is fine, but in one place the carpet was visibly dirty, and so was one of the towels provided. It should be noted that our room had a sliding door in the bathroom that cannot be completely closed (it only covers the entrance to the bathroom) and you can hear everything in the room while someone is inside. I should definitely highlight the breakfast, which is extremely tasty and has a wide selection of dishes. All in all, for an average price, the hotel is fine. I would come back again, although of course not everything was ideal.

It was a bit far, but metro station 5min away. Breakfast was superb. The staff was nice. The room clean but I dunno why I had allergic reaction to the pillow , my skin was all red from the side I sleep, it took few days for the rash to disappear.

The hotel delivers what they promised. The photos are matching with the actual room.

Location: It’s near Tram line 5 along with the metro/ subway line. So around 15-20min to the center of town. Or 10min by taxi The location is great. It’s very quiet area. There’s some grocery stores nearby. There’s also a self service laundromat nearby. So this was useful for us. Because you are close to center with numerous transport links nearby, the location is very good. Room Room is clean and modern, they have plug sockets near the bed which is useful. There are some negatives, we found the AC had more power on level 2 than level 3. Also, we stayed on the 7th floor. There’s an issue with, I imagine, all rooms on this floor, in that you can hear the drone of the hotels laundry machines in the evening. If you are a light sleeper then this may be an issue Overall the room is big, light, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and fridge and kettle were provided. Bathroom The size of the bathroom is good. But the actual shower head made strange noises when in use. Also, the shower floor. Imagine you have a solid tile, large, now imagine half of it being cut out so it’s deeper then the rest of the tile. This is where you stand to shower. It’s no problem, until the water does not drain correctly and rises so much that it overfills the deep portion and flows on top of the original tile and then spills onto the floor. Even when I fully removed the plug hole stopper, the water would still overflow. Considering we had already unpacked everything and only there for a few nights, we lived with this, but for a longer trip, the shower combined with the noise from the hotel laundry room would mean you should ask to swap rooms. Breakfast 6:30-9:30 which is a little early to finish, most places are 10:00. Selection is as normal in most European hotels. Cakes, pastries, yogurt, cereal, fruit, juice, tea, coffee, eggs and bacon, breads. Because the hotel design and service is so nice, breakfast felt underwhelming but it is a good breakfast and we went at 9:15am so maybe the feeling of lack of variety was our fault. But the hotel does offer a lot Gym One treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, one sit up bench and one multi gym (the seated ones, not a squat rack or functional trainer) Now most hotel gyms are bad. Here everything was technogym and the treadmill is an old one with not much cushioning but I prefer this. Works fine. The multi gym, initially when I saw the photos I thought that this would be bad, most multi gyms are. But credit to the hotel they picked a good one where you can do at least one and usually movements per body part on the machine. Both push and pull movements. It is a good multi gym and it was surprisingly useful The sit-up bench is good, several angles for decline sit-ups. Pool They have an outdoor pool, I didn’t use it. No comment Overall It’s a really nice location. You can easily get into the heart of Milan quickly and easily. The service was good and everything is clean The room size is good I would stay here again but ask for a room away from the laundry room so I hear nothing at night and rest the shower draining, it’s not something one immediately thinks about. But the staff are lovely, (English speaking) the location is good, the room is big, everything is clean and surprisingly has a useful gym

Comfortable stay in nice room. Easy access near to public transport. Staff was friendly. I arrived early and was allowed to check in early as my room was ready. Will definitely stay here again next time I come to Milan.

Very good hotel, if you need a place to stay while touring around Milan

Review of Singaporean who stay 4 night from 25-29 Aug 22. Location. - need 15-20 min traveling by metro or Tram 5 from central Milano station. To be frank. I prefer to buy the daily / 3 day visit . Then take the tram 5 station just behind the big apple at the exit and stop at Granada station. Use goggle map really helpful . Hotel nearby has laundromat and 2 nice restaurants . Nearby tram 5 station has a shop selling daily items . I bought basic drinks Hotel: I was initially given 113. Room was too hot . AC not cold. I Call the reception and porter Abdul came and arrange another room for me . I got 428. Room ia bigger and definitely cold . Cleanliness was ok. No toothbrush . Basic amenities . Wifi also better than 113. Breakfast : it has many choices . I stay 4 day and I at the scramble egg and the bacon . It has kikoman soya sauce. Juat nice for Asian like me . Overall. The price was very good for a hotel with breakfast . Daily unlimited travel pass is 7euro. 3 day unlimited pass is 12 euro. All can take the metro, team. Bus. Etc…

Very good. The curtains are automatic. The bed was comfortable and large. Front desk staff very friendly
